Republicans are better at politics than Democrats Dem base is more divided. Democrat base also has a significant portion that holds their leaders accountable Right now Republicans are winning I think they are pushing too far. Way too far There is going to be violence and disruption in this country the likes we haven't seen since the civil rights movement and it's because of Republicans greedy pursuit of power. Imo the balance has been broken Once the economic dam breaks it's going to be bad. Hillary was corrupt, Biden was corrupt... But not in the brazen way Trump is. We elected a dude with an obvious lack of character, someone who you would let go as a friend . We knew even knew before his first term some of the things he said and thought about women. How many times has he been divorced? How many businesses has he failed with ? Some people like him for his aggressiveness and other Republicans "held their nose" so to speak because they thought the Democratic candidate was worse. I feel , undoubtedly at this point, that our 2 party system has failed and that our democracy will not be able to respond adequately to the challenges that we will face . The Republican party may appear strong , they may be passing their agenda and blocking Democrats from doing anything . The publics faith in Washington was already down the drain This Epstein manuevering , masked ice agents , unpredictable Tariffs, and a general tone of disrespect from Trump have flushed whatever goodwill was left.
