If CP3 makes it to the end of the season relatively healthy, he should make up for Harden's shortcomings towards the end of a playoff series. I don't know how much gas will be left on that tank though. Clippers will be an interesting team to look out for. Essentially built of players doing their one last attempt at winning a championship.
Geriatric Voltrons tend to not work. There is a lot of "If's" that have to go right for that Clippers team.
Does CP3 even have much left in the tank at this point? I figure this is mostly a "sit on the bench for your farewell tour" kinda move with the team he had his best run with. If they go far in the playoffs he's just along for the ride I feel, he aint giving you a lot of anything right now. ****, bench him but keep him active in practise so he's loose for when Beard vanishes in the playoffs.
the corpse of Lopez lol. Clippers suck and will always be injured when steady signing the most injured old players available
He is a Champion in my books, he mentored SGA......and helped him to get where he is now. I mean yeah NBA is just made for taller people and he is already the best guy at 5'11-6'0.......after Iverson.
I think the Clippers will be just fine. Beal going down was ironically a blessing for them. They will use better defenders and role players in Dunn and Paul. Lopez and Collins are backing up a team that already made the playoffs last season. I don't know why we do this every year with old teams as though we don't know they start slow and end big. That's like the Warriors who booted out a 2nd seed in the first round in case you forgot. Don't be fooled by teams the go playoff intensity from day 1. There's inflation there. Ime has been booted out by older teams with bad starts, less talented roster and mediocre records two out of two times. Let's not get too cocky.
I would do it in a heartbeat but it is tough to carve a role for him on this squad, so I don’t think he will come.
