Bullshittt. That year just doesn’t count for sports.

Anthony Davis was ruled out for the next few months in March . Season starts back in the summer and he’s back to healthy.

Back in the day, I got in wayyy too many arguments and damn near fist fights over people questioning Rockets 94 and 95 championships and saying they were fake and asterisk because Jordan wasn’t playing LOL. So I’ll be the last person to ever question a title. If the Rockets won it, I’d certainly count it, so I won’t discount it for anyone else. That’s just me though…

 

Same. A championship is a championship. I would have loved it if the Rockets won it that year. I’ll go so far as to say you could probably come up with some sort of asterisk for every championship ever.

Spurs.

The Bubble was also a short season. And had a months long break. And didn't involve travel. And didn't have fans. And too many players did not want to be there.

But I would say neither are as tough as normal 82 game season championships.

 

People who like to question that championship invalidates them from ever saying anything valid NBA related. And there’s definitely an argument it’s harder.

 

Each season is played within a vacuum and @Patience is right that you could find "asterisk" for most titles. This old Reddit thread proves it:
