    I wasn't responding to you,

I've given you a short version of my thoughts because I'm wasting way to much time and I'm about to checkout of Home Depot with my wife. Home Depot notes me more than having a conversation with you, so there's that. LOL

You never seem to mention that Trump himself graduated from ivy league school himself. His entire cabinet is filled with ivy Leaguers but somehow the MAGA cult never thinks of Trump as a elitist even though he was born with a golden spoon in his mouth

Again, what is your basis for these claims? Besides Fox News telling you this and it being your opinion. What evidence do you have regarding the political and world views of Ivy Leaguers? It’s just your bullsh-it. You don’t know the first thing about graduates from Ivy League colleges or the other top universities I named.

“They’ve all contributed to the downturn in USA citizens quality of life” … what, by becoming nurses, doctors, engineers, economists, investment bankers, lawyers, business men and women, teachers, professors, researchers, writers? My god you are disturbed and grossly uneducated. You have allowed MAGA nonsense to infiltrate every thought. I am completely flabbergasted at how easily you throw sweeping, negative generalizations about 22 year old college graduates who come from states across the country, including every state in the south. Your mind is completely poisoned.

The short version of your thoughts is an unsubstantiated view of graduates of top universities based on crap you see on Fox News.

Sorry, but you continue to post nonsense and make sweeping negative generalizations about college graduates at top universities that come from all over the country. Including conservative kids.

I bet you did not know that top universities believe in geographic diversity and intentionally admit top students from all corners of the country, including the South and tons from Texas specifically. They believe that college kids benefit from engaging with people from all over the country, just like with international students.

One of my best friends grew up in a small town outside of San Antonio, a pastor’s kid. He was a brilliant student and went to Vanderbilt for college. Through loans and working at restaurants, he made his own way. From there he went to Harvard Law School, again, on his own effort, his own talent, his own dime, coming from nothing. Is he an elitist piece of crap?

There are tons of people just like him who graduate from these top schools. Frankly, it pisses me off that you make sweeping negative generalizations about them when you know nothing about these schools or the kids that graduate from them.

Its the same narrative. Right wing media fear mongers about ivy league schools all day to their base but then turn around and send all their kids to ivy league. They claim New York is a **** hole and dangerous yet theyre headquartered there?

Its just so funny that MAGA think ivy league is this boogeyman but have no issue with Trump , his Treasury secretary and his commerce secretary all going to ivy league themselves.

MAGA dont have a coherent thought outside of what theyre told

Youre missing my point. @raining threes claims ivy league graduates are "elitists" who have sold out America in the name of globalists and have thrown the middle class under the bus.

Somehow the same cultist dont apply this same logic to Trump who graduated from ivy league whos actually helping the elite. Trump eliminated the cfpb which is the only regulator that protects Americans from financial fraud.

Banks are licking their chops at the idea of knowing they can screw Americans as much as they want. MAGATS dont realize their cult leader is doing everything they accuse these "elites" of doing but theyre too brainwashed to comprehend

I stand by what I posted and no I dont let Fox develop my thoughts. Obviously whether you agree with me or not, I do my own thinking.

Stay pissed off, that will mean conservatives will keep winning elections. Like I've said before, it's going to be a long 3 !/2 years for libs like yourself. Dont let your life be miserable because of politics. I certainly didn't let politics bother me when Biden/Obama were elected, because I knew there would be a correction from the socialist ideas these POTUS were fostering on this country. What you're seeing now is that correction.

More and more words and still not one single thing to support your nonsensical ideas about students that graduate from top universities.

One can only conclude that you actually know that you have no factual basis for your posts, but you proceed quite proudly in willful ignorance.

The literal definition of ignorance - lack of knowledge of information and facts. Which is hilarious because the topic is about higher education.

All you have to do is look at Harvard now vs the 80's.

Not that you would admit Harvard has turned into a global bastion for globalist liberalism/communism and has very few things in common with American values, hence this devalues a Harvard education and my son is currently living/working in Cambridge. (But hopefully not for long.)

In addition to his current job, he's got a side gig working at Berkley. I'm very proud of his work ethic.

You have the time and energy to post the same assertions again and again, but you can’t be bothered to post a single basis for any of it. Contrast that with the information I provided for you. And rather than address any of the facts presented, you are magically too busy to spend more time on this. Then you magically find time to post the same assertions again and again.

Irrespective of the subject matter we are discussing and our differing opinions, this approach to discussion makes you look like an idiot.

I am very willing to consider facts and information, and if I’m wrong, I’m wrong. It would not be the first time. I will be a learner all my life because, even in my early 50’s, I know I don’t know everything and there is always something new to learn or consider.

I can’t imaging approaching discussion like you do. It is like a child saying something over and over, refusing to state a basis for it, and then sticking his fingers in his ears and stomping his feet, chanting la la la la la in refusal to hear or consider anything else.

You post this like I have to prove anything to you.

You lost me when you called me an idiot. You know you're to emotional and are loosing the debate when you have to resort to name calling and frankly you're acting like a typical childish lib. Life is to short for me to converse with people who exhibit child like behavior.

I've got my opinions, you have yours.

Mine is by looking back at what Ivy League schools used to be. Yours are based on numbers.

    On ignore you go.

    ?

Are you saying Crockett is smart and if I consider her to be on a mouth breather level of intelligence I'm a KKK member? Sure you cant be that blinded be race that you would consider Crockett to be any smarter than your avg Junior College graduate. Crockett has definitely filled the void left by SJL.

I now know that you have only consumed news in the SCW right wingnut echo chamber.

Jasmine Crockett is an American lawyer and politician currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 30th congressional district since 2023. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Crockett was born on March 29, 1981, in St. Louis, Missouri. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Rhodes College in 2003 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center in 2006

Rhodes College is a nationally ranked liberal arts and sciences college, consistently recognized for its academic excellence and vibrant campus life. It's ranked among the top liberal arts colleges in the United States by various publications. Specifically, Niche.com ranks it 55th nationally among liberal arts colleges.

She passed the Texas Bar, which your typical "avg Junior College graduate" has almost a zero shot at doing.

    But you be you.

At least you are consistent. More words, still no substantive response. Nope, you have nothing to prove to me. At all. The only thing you have to do is look in the mirror and understand whether you have any basis for your opinions.

I can’t “loose” (it’s “lose”) the debate because we aren’t having one. A debate is where each side presents coherent thoughts backed by information and evidence. That isn’t happening here.

We have differing opinions. Mine is based on personal experience, information relayed from parents of students of other top schools, publications by professional college counselors, and most importantly, actual data from the universities and confirmed by third parties.

Yours is based on “looking back at what Ivy League schools used to be.” You never attended one, you don’t seem to present any information from people who have attended one. Seems like you haven’t read any books, reviewed any articles, or have any basis for “looking back at what Ivy League schools used to be.” It is fairly clear that you pulled that straight out of your uninformed self, based on nothing.

I am sure you are probably a functioning adult and have other competencies. But with regard to top colleges in the US and basic abilities to discuss and support your opinions with facts, you are in fact an idiot.

You make it impossible to conclude otherwise.
