Yainer doesn’t know how to put up professional at-bats. His approach is non-existent.

 

Seems like everyone except Diaz knew a slider was coming.

Chas went 3-20 with 8 Ks in AAA during his rehab. Don’t even know why they brought him back up so quickly.

 

FYI Neris and Ort are left in the pen.

They rarely look at numbers on a rehab stint from an established hitter. The 8 k’s were high but they all came in the first 12 at bats. In his last 8 at bats he had 3 hits and no k’s. The rehab assignment is really about whether or not he’s healthy again. Also, it’s a chance to get your timing back a bit before rejoining the big club. If he is healthy, we obviously need the help.
