Not sure if Beal is a better option than Powell..Beal seems to be injured often and not effective as he once was

They need to keep their new arena as full as possible. Their main focus is putting a product on the floor fans want to see. It isn't just about winning a chip.

The Clippers have a solid squad but are very old. I don't think Beal moves the needle much for them.

    Harden - 37
    Kawhi - 34
    Collins - 27
    Zubac - 28
    Beal - 32
    Lopez - 37
    Bogdanovic - 33
    Batum - 36
    Jones Jr - 28

Even though Beal has made an insane amount of money in his career, his contract with the Clippers is 1+1 with a player option. The guy wants to impress next year and opt out for even more money. He's only 32 and will ride the NBA gravy train as long as he can.

The West is so loaded now. The reason I believe Beal didn't work is because of no real point guard. Booker was isoing the ball at the top of the key. They wanted him to be regular season James Harden and Booker is no way on that level. Denver, Clippers, OKC, Dallas are tier 1 teams, this includes the Rockets. Tier 2 San Antonio, Lakers, Golden State, Minnesota, maybe Memphis. It's going to be a dogfight in the West. So I'm glad the Rockets didn't stand pat. If they would've stayed course. Rockets are tier 2 tier 3.

OKC really motivated are in a Tier of their Own........
Denver and Houston are in one Tier but Denver has the edge of MVP Joker in Prime and Chip Experience.

Plus Denver has had a really decent Offseason with key bench additions as well.

Yeah, but Denver took them to the brink in the playoff series. Denver was just injured to me. Match ups are also a big key. That's why I'm excited to see us with KD, a more efficient focal point. No more JG bad shots.

OKC system is not bullet proof as it is but their D to O system is the most solid I have watched last year......

no more SG being useless against single coverage by either Curry, Podz, Heild, or Spencer
