I dont believe this because if there was an actual list and Trump was on it (Dershowitz said there is no list and he was Epstein's lawyer so he would've known.) Biden would've let the voters that Trump was on the list before the election. I do agree with you though, release all of the files that DOJ has on Epstein, if that means Trump, Clinton, Gates, Oprah, etc... take a fall, then so be it. People who steal children's innocence disgust me and they should rot in jail. I dont care if the person is GOP or Dem.
I'm a fan of the Trump policies. There's no such thing as an orange messiah, questions should be asked and answered regarding Epstein. Another question I have is why do the Dems seem to care so much about Epstein now, when they didn't seem to care about Epstein at all during the Biden administration?
Pro Democracy? The Dems are a bunch of socialists/communists look at the future mayor of New York as an example.
I don’t even understand what people are talking about when they speak of a “list”. It can’t simply be a list of people who have some connection to Epstein, because the guy was involved in a number of political and business/financial stuff. Of course, there are very specific allegations about Trump and his relationship with Epstein from the 90s that are far more troubling and warrant more scrutiny.
I don't really think so, not without some extraordinary political intervention. SOP would be to maintain confidentiality to refrain from accusing people of things they can't prove in court. And where they can prove something, they wouldn't want to jeopardize the case by alerting the perps. I think Dem voters always cared, but were hoping the DOJ was doing some investigation. That now seems like a vain hope. But to announce you're closing the case and will do nothing about all the involved rapists is making people realize that there was in fact no real investigating going on. Neither under Biden nor under Trump. That's galling. Agreed re "the list". I seriously doubt it is something so straight forward. There may be flight logs, invoices, memos, etc with people's names on them. But no list that cross references the elite with what underage girls he had sex with.
Democracy is orthogonal to economic systems. Of course the tech bros like Peter Thiel financing MAGA believe capitalism and democracy are incomparable and choose capitalism over democracy. So the movement you back is actually anti-democratic unlike the Democratic Socialist running for mayor. You know the party that actually has democracy in its name.
What is socialist about the Democratic Party? They are so corporate they have trouble denouncing the MAGA kleptocracy.
The core suspicion isn't that Epstein himself snuck out during those three minutes. Since the cameras weren't pointed at his cell door, he wouldn't be seen leaving or entering anyway. Instead, the suspicion revolves around what or who might have been in the hallway during those missing minutes that the authorities don't want people to see. Because the video was edited using professional software like Adobe Premiere Pro and initially mislabeled as "raw" , it makes people wonder if something was deliberately hidden. Essentially, the editing of the "raw" footage, combined with the high-profile nature of Epstein's case and the official suicide ruling, makes people believe the missing minutes could contain crucial, incriminating evidence that contradicts the official story. Since the DoJ claimed they released "raw" footage, which forensic analysis proved they didn't , experts like Hany Farid have indeed stated that to restore trust and ensure the video is suitable for court, the authorities should "go back to the source" and release a direct export from the original system, with "no monkey business". This would be the most direct way to address the lingering questions and move forward.
I don't think you understand what Democracy really is. Mamdani is currently RUNNING for office, and there will be at least 2 other major challengers running as well IN AN ELECTION. Again... AN ELECTION... aka a DEMOCRATIC process. People are human beings with different views on all kinds of things. Democracy is a process to allow for all types of ideas to be evaluated, and voted on by the people. You know what's not a Democracy.... -Trump calling the Secretary of State in Georgia and telling him to "Find Votes" after the election has already taken place -Sending a mob to the Capital to disrupt the counting of electoral votes in order to challenge a free and fair election or -Using a natural disaster like the one here in Texas a couple weeks ago to call for a special session in order to gerrymander districts to choose your voters for Congressional House seats to rig elections in your favor. .... So spare me your condescension and demonizing of pro Democracy politicians. You have ZERO ground to stand on when it comes to waiving your finger at Democrats for their individualized views when those individualized views have NEVER held a candle to the openly hostile ACTIONS Trump and his minions in the Republican Party have taken to openly destroy the Democratic process... as well as our Regulated Capitalist economic system where they have openly taken action to destroy the economic rules in favor of themselves, and their oligarch elites that fund their agenda.
I hope you don't get the opportunity to experience communism or full bore socialism. Everyone who advocates for this should have to spend two years in Russia or Cuba.
Agree with most of this and GOP, Dems finally have something they can agree on. They both believe in covering up the Epstein files.
If I take off my conspiracy hat and put on my gullible hat, I can imagine an innocent explanation of the missing 2:53. The first tape ended at 11:59 but was followed by almost 3 minutes of blank space. So, to be helpful, some analyst deleted the blank space and appended the 2 files together for easier viewing. So the video wasn't technically raw but was otherwise not doctored -- just edited to make watching easier. But if that was the case, they would have said so by now and released 2 completely raw video clips. Still, while 2:53 might have been cut off of video 1, the final 1:51 of those 2:53 should be captured in video 2. If so, it is still only the 1:02 between 11:58:58 and 12:00:00 that is truly unaccounted for. You probably don't have time in 1:02 to walk past the camera, enter the cell, murder Epstein, and walk back out. But, you would have time to walk past the camera and enter the cell. Then you can murder Epstein in the next several hours and leave when the guard comes to find you and your dead victim. So who knows. But, returning to @pgabriel's question, I would very much like to hear from prior officials who had responsibility for the Epstein cases. Maurene Comey, who helped prosecute Epstein and Maxwell and is now mysteriously fired. And all the recent US Attorneys of the SDNY -- Jeff Berman (Trump), Audrey Strauss (Trump/Biden), and Damian Williams (Biden) -- and ask them what they did to investigate Epstein's death. I'd also like to hear from Merrick Garland what he did and what he knew. I'd interview Bill Barr too, but I don't expect the truth from that guy (though he has said he reviewed that footage personally). I'd also like to hear from the guards Tova Noel and Michael Thomas, who discovered the body. AI tells me none of them have really been asked about what the know or to justify what they did while in office. I'm sure they won't comment on record, but somebody should be asking them.
