Just finished Daredevil: Born Again. 9 episodes.

I nearly gave up twice. It took half the season for the show to grab me but it got rolling and finished strong.

I think S2 is set up to be a lot better now that everything is out in the open and it's clearly Daredevil vs. Kingpin. The early part where Fisk seemed like he might be turning a new leaf and Matt Murdock seemingly determined not to become Daredevil again was boring. Everything leveled up when Daredevil did his thing, Frank Castle started killing people and Fisk went all-in Kingpin.

Once the new showrunners took over the show became 10 million times better.

Squid Game S3: Solid 10 out of 10. My gf couldn't watch everything with me because of the gore but she liked the ending. I'm curious if how the American version will be. I hope we don't have to wait years for it and the interest wanes.

finished Squid Games S2 last week, and S3 yesterday

S1 was by far the best IMO, and each subsequent season was worse than the last

I could not stand this character

annoying AF, I couldn’t wait for him to die…damn near the highlight of S2 for me when his ass was finally gone…literally every time he was on screen all I could think was “please kill this MFer”

the VIPs in S3 were so over the top…they were basically mustache twirling cartoon villains

how willing all of them were to kill a baby and calling the child “it” and “that thing” had me like
    [IMG]

Is this the Squid Games or a Korean reenactment of the Rape of Nanking?

their justification for having the baby be a part of the games to begin with was ridiculous

MurderBot definitely ended on a very great note. Really enjoyed the book series and Apple did it justice. Getting caught on Foundation which took the book adaption to a different place, but it works so well.

I hope we get MurderBot season 2 and we get to meet

For all of you children of the 80's I strongly suggest watching the Making of Live Aid on CNN.
Stirs up a lot of memories and emotion good and bad about the horror of The Ethiopian famine and what a group of folks can do to draw attention to such horrors. Three parts, only one has aired so far. I suspect you will be able to stream on Max very soon if you don't do cable.

The final tournament was filmed at Kingwood Country Club. My in-laws were extras. They're sitting under the tent after the last shot clapping and waiving their hands. They said Costner was nothing but warm and friendly to everyone on the set especially the extras.

Speaking of Costner, I just finished S1 of Yellowstone. Late to the party as usual, but now I see what all the fuss was about. Looking forward to starting S2 before the Astros start back up again.

Also just finished S1 of Andor. So well done, just like everyone says. Dark and political, which Star Wars SHOULD be.

Just finished The Gentlemen 2024 (TV series, not the movie) on Netflix.

It was exceptional and I will watch S2 next year from day 1 of release.

Oh man this was soooo dam good last night, the work behind the scenes was more intense than what I recall actually happening. Everyone is so old now, including me, but that was so much fun to watch.................Queen was by far my personal favorite

I thought U2 was pretty badass. 12 minute version of Bad (my favorite U2 song) that included Bono rescuing some girl in the front row from getting crushed and then dancing with her.

I love MurderBot, it was so good, I started reading the books. I'm a big David Goyer fan, so I'm trying to get into Foundation, but the first two episodes nearly put me to sleep. Does it pick up, or is the whole series a slow burn?

I was going to say they were my personal favorite.
On a related note. Joshua Tree was the album of my youth followed by Pearl Jam 10

The U2 live performance that will always stick in my head was the show at Slane Castle, Ireland, I believe the day after Bono's dad passed away. The hair on my arms tries to stand up just thinking about it.

    The Institute on MGM.

Steven King. Mary Louise-Parker plays a very good unhinged person.
