    No he wasn’t.

Lou isn’t a great comp because of the athleticism disparity.

I stand by Malik Monk being a great comp, only difference being Malik has developed into a better playmaker over the last few years. Jalen should really focus on doing the same because, like Malik, his frame is really best suited at PG.

Jalen’s success is greatly tied into his perimeter shooting. He becomes a 40% three point shooter and he will be a flawed but monster scorer. He isn’t going to score from the line or on the lane with defenders packing the lane.

I hope he has a long and happy career and life.

Pretty good film breakdown on him

-when he’s got space, he can use his elite athleticism to get by. The problem is during the warriors series, he got blitzed and picked up way faster than he thought and he couldn’t do anything

-he picked up his dribble too fast instead of letting the play develop. A scoring opportunity was maybe a second or so away and all he have to do is pass it if he just didn’t pick up his dribble sooner

I should have been more precise with my language.

Lou Williams was a better 3 point shooter, but his Jalenesque mindless chucking lead to an even lower TS% overall.

I think a poor man's Malik Monk or Jordan Clarkson 2.0 are better comps though

I see a lot of Jason Richardson, obviously without the frame but the game.

But if you ask me who would do creative dunks, Richardson hands down all the time.

    ....to....the multi-millionaire?

That video did indeed pretty well sum it up. He's so athletic and has things that work very well but space is pretty important to that and the Rockets haven't offered up much of it since Harden era. Can imagine a team that has the shooters to pull defenders out of the paint really enjoying Jalen's ability to dust basically anyone. And I don't mean that like the Rockets did him wrong, they absolutely gave him a fair shot to be a star here and he just didn't deliver. I hate the phrase but this case really applies - it is what it is. I appreciate his efforts here, I understand why the team wanted to move on and I wish him the best unless he's playing against the Rockets.

“Yeah, I had a feeling. They’ve been trying to trade me since last year,” Green told the Chronicle. “I’m not tripping. It’s for the better of the team. I know it’s a business at the end of the day. I really can’t handle how I feel. Whatever happens, happens. At the end of the day, I still got the opportunity to play basketball.”

I told yall that they had been trying to trade him. Some of ya'll didnt pay attention. They realized he wasnt a main guy a while ago.

Had to keep his value up though.

Hey, it happens, he just isn't as good as JOFs think he is. All the physical tools in the world, no ability to put it together for winning basketball.

Loved that from Green. They couldn't have landed in a better spot. Imagine going to the Bullets or the Jisz

You love that it takes a player being traded to be motivated?

I'd kind of hope a player would be motivated to be better after multiple abysmal seasons into his NBA career.

What about being called a pathetic little b*tch on live tv in the playoffs? I thought that would be motivation to come out and punk someone next game.

Oh well. Hopefully he finally has some motivation to get better hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahaha
