Lance has had some good starts so the potential is still there.
Hopefully it’s just from such a long time being out

 

Even his last start he walked 4 guys and we gave him a big lead. His stuff isn’t good enough anymore to consistently be giving guys free passes. Just a frustrating pitcher to watch at this point.

You can't even trust Lance out of the bullpen because he's always so wild in his first innings. I don't want him anywhere the postseason roster.

Lance's curveball just doesn't break anymore. Sadly, will probably be released within 2 months.

It used to be a 12-6 unhittable pitch, he throws a knuckle curve was that what he always threw? Or is this post surgery pitches, like he doesn't trust the slider, downward spin action anymore.

He still throws the curveball but not as much and only to left handed hitters. This isn’t new - he started throwing this slider in 2021 and it overtook the curve as his second most used pitch.

Now that his fastball sucks he uses the slider more than the fastball.

 

I guess I could look this up but being lazy. Al Leiter's son pitching?
