    Munoz last 20 appearances.

    9 saves
    6 blown saves

Seattle officially does not have a closer right now. May have to consider going committee with Brash, et al.

    You love to see it.

Seattle gains no ground after the Astros get swept by the Guardians.

Hard to believe since he has a 1.54 ERA. I'm guessing some of those blown saves have been ghost runners and other unearned runs?

He's given up 3ER in one game and 1ER in another (eta: 3 unearned runs=3 blown saves or losses). That's it, he's pitched in 35 games.

Yeah, that’s a little wild to say they don’t have a closer then lol

Knowing the score, I intentionally watch the Mariner's re-broadcast. During end of the 7th Inning with a no-hitter still going, the Mariners broadcast guy said it will be a fun night- :) Cal Raleigh lost this game. With 2 Outs in the 9th and a 1-2 count, he went to the mound to talk to their closer. Munoz lost his rhythm and proceeds to Walk then game tied. The biggest blow is Raleigh mis-tagged Volpe, the ball beat him to home plate. The Mariners lost more than the Astros lost to the Lindians

He changed from Boras to a different agent before the season, this might hurt.

Always good when the Mariners blow it, right?

He was tipping. Yankees were signaling from 2B (and not even trying to hide it).

That’s actually on the catcher (not the tipping per-se, but picking up the signaling and bringing it to everybodys attention… and not simply in the post game press conference).

So I'm testing this declaration out on the 2022 team. I can't tell you I remember a horrible sweep we incurred, but I'm almost certain we did.

Let's see if anyone can remember if we did without looking it up. Also, didn't we no hit the Yankees in the regular season and possibly swept that series in the Bronx.

I looked up the 2022 game by game results and I won't give away the answer, but I do have a question regarding an anomaly in the scheduling. We played a 4 game road series at Yankee stadium from Thursday to Sunday. Then played on the road vs the Mets Tues and Weds, then played the Yankees at home for just 1 game on that Thursday before playing the Angels Fri-Sun at home. I can't for the life of me remember why that happened.

Oh yeah we did no hit the Yankees that year. The best start of Javier's career 7 IP, 1 BB, 13 Ks.
