A mayor whose entire family gets paid by Columbia to have views advocating the global intifada, defunding the police and Islamic conquering of America from within. Rich, wealthy liberals have been wanting this going back to Obamas 2nd term when they felt he wasn't radical enough.

Of course, what gets voters to come out are policies and the dire state of NYC the past 5 years where anyone not a venture capitalist / tech worker outlook went from bleak to non existent.

The policies will force the rich to get more creative.We're going to see a ton of 1 person shops with AI doing the work of surplus employees. Culling of entry level white collar at a rapid rate. My concern is employment for the working class in the service economy - this will speeden up the AI take over. They will take to the streets and be unruly when the jobs just aren't there and employers have left.

Rent freeze is a good policy on the surface - but what about the 300,000 vacant apartments that can't be renovated to code because of rent control? Why is his father who makes 500k as a Columbia professor living in a $2k/month rent stabilized apartment? Instead he focuses on "white neighborhoods". It's all going to be highly entertaining as the jews freak out and the billionaires try every game in the book.

 

Playing populist politics is a winning formula rn. Mamdani and Trump took advantage of this.
