    Wow, this looks f*cking terrible.

I don't understand how a big studio can't get their **** together with the Conan IP. It's amazing. Robert E. Howard created an incredibly deep and rich world with well fleshed-out characters that deserves a decent extended adaptation. It could be the next GOT.

Everyone knows who Conan is. The audience is there. And they keep pumping out this tripe.

You're not wrong. Only problem I see is that Ahnold "ruined" that character. Nobody will ever watch a Conan movie and not picture him, and wish he (young version) was the one starring in it. Him in that role was one of the most perfect casting decisions ever.

    Old Conan and Conan Jr?

I think there’s a window for a young, more lean Conan to literally grow into the role of prime Conan. Sports medicine, nutrition and training can turn anyone into a muscle-bound monster. Or just do the Steve Rogers pre-Cap treatment with flashbacks.

I would cast for talent, charisma and looks and build on that.

Couldn't agree more. This should be a show, receiving the GOT treatment.

The female lead reminds me of Lily James.

    Who is New Conan?

Needs a heavy accent, yet still be understandable. And muscles. It's not Shakespeare.

Recasting Conan would be the hardest part. I think the popular choice would be Reacher but as much as I've enjoyed watching the show the actual actor is a stiff with no charisma. Henry Cavill would be nice but a pipe dream, dude is way too large but if he could carry the Witcher he can definitely do Conan. The more realistic choice of a great actor I would like would be Tom Hardy but I don't think he can carry the physique anymore, he even had to do PEDs to play Bane when he was younger. Perhaps Momoa again since he already played the role once?

Honestly, I don't know, I just got excited about the possibility of seeing the Hyborian age setting without thinking of the most important part, the actual actor to carry the show.

Of course, Conan would only work with Arnold and the special effects of the 80s.
