I have been very critical of President Obama's foreign policy record - and there are several major mistakes he made. However, I would point out that the foreign policy record of the President before him was worse, and the record of the President's after him has been abysmal as well.

Nixon wasn’t good. Vietnam was poorly handled. Nixon supported a lot of authoritarian regimes that were “the bad guys”. He absolutely destroyed any positive relations with India.
