Funny show, looking forward to the season finale tomorrow. Apple TV is on fire lately, I wish Wheel of Time was picked up by them. Not gonna happen, but ideal partner.
While predictable, this week's episode was rather fun to watch. We knew what was gonna happen, but it was fun to watch it unfold. Well executed, maybe the best episode of the season, making up for that stinker last week.
That shot Owen did was hilarious. That was the only thing in the show I wasn't expecting. That...and for a quick second...I thought maybe the boy and girl were having another spat because she went too far with her affection play to the target. I wasn't far off there because they were even wondering at the end if any of that came from a real place.
That shot came from this real life shot, link posted by daywalker02. I had never seen this until a couple days ago, then the show goes and copies it. Hilarious.
Never seen it, my first and still favorite golf movie was happy Gilmore, didn't grow up with a golf family. My dad was once gifted a whole bag of clubs by a friend that wanted him to play and he just used them as fire pokers for the chimney lol.
Well...I won't spoil the end for you I'm the world's worst golfer, I've got a brand new unused bag of clubs sitting somewhere around here. Nobody in my family (other than my Mom in college) was a golfer, so I never learned anything. The par-3 "pitch and putt" in central Austin was fun though (Baker?). So was "Beer Golf" on the Rice U campus: 5 or so players, 1 cooler of beer, everyone has 1 club (7 iron usually) and tennis balls. "The next hole is that trashcan (or whatever) 300 feet over there". Last man to hit it carries the cooler for the next hole.
Oh snap. I thought season one was over, I binged the show this past week. Can't wait for the season finale.
Murderbot finale was touching and sets up what should be an even better Season 2. I had some doubts about the show after the first couple of episodes but it roped me in. I also enjoy the 30 min episode format. Alexander Skarsgård really killed his role. If you didn't know already, one of his brothers was Pennywise the Clown and another was Floki in Vikings. His father was Luthen Rael in Andor among other things. If you are looking for a show to "binge", add this one to your list.
Squid Games S1…yes, I know, I’m late I got done watching episode 6, and sheesh, it had a grown man getting emotional Ali realizing he’s been betrayed and tears rolling down his face as the gun gets pointed towards the back of his head thinking about the wife and kid he’ll never get to see again when the old man gave away his final marble after reminiscing about his son and told Gi-Hun it’s ok and thanked him
I honestly was not expecting that level of heart from this show. Pleasantly surprised, great finale, no cliffhanger.
If you didn't like Season 3 then definitely don't suffer any further with Season 4. That was tougher for me to get through.
Too Much S01: 0 out of 10! We were looking for another comedy series to binge but this was terrible! It was so bad we couldn't finish the first episode.
