    What a bizarre post.

You do realize that the way you distort facts here does reflect your bias pretty clearly??

So I guess the main question I ask you respectfully is why do you have so much support from Putin and Russia?? What bias' and loyalties do you have that we aren't privy to? I think if you came out here and just were honest about your perspective, and where you are coming from, we could show alot more respect for that perspective.

Ukraine did not "undergo the war"... they were fcking invaded.

Ukraine agreed to a series of agreements that while it didn't ban itself from EVER joining NATO, it did clearly outline that if Russia attacked the Donbas again, the United States would support their ability to defend itself. Russia, and Vladamir Putin violated agreements like those as well as the most recent Minsk Agreement. Not the other way around.

NATO expansion is a self fulfilled prophecy for Putin, and his supporters. We all know that Finland, and Sweden would never have joined NATO if Putin would not have invaded Ukraine.

The fact that in your anti-Ukraine arguments you ALWAYS... I mean ALWAYS remove any agency that Russia has clearly shows your bias. I'm just asking you for once, to just have a little respect for us, by telling us why... what's your story man? What is your background that gives you a loyalty here we do not have here in the US typically unless we have past history with studying Lenin, or used to work for RT, etc. I honestly would just really love to know your background and where you are coming from because I really don't want to be offended by you insulting our intelligence anymore.

    Also-

If Trump was serious about ending the war, he would be the one giving an ultimatum to Putin that if Russian military does not retreat from Ukrainian territory within 2 weeks, and cease bombing operations that the US and NATO will officially grant Ukraine NATO membership.

In that ultimatum obviously Putin would find a way to offer a serious agreement that could bring an end, or get out completely. And if he doesn't go along with it, and Ukraine joins NATO then guess what... the war ends as soon as NATO troops and the US military tech joins the fight, and completely annihilates military operations that Russia has in the Donbas within weeks.

If people are serious about actually ending the war, NATO membership threats or actual membership is the way to end up as fast as possible. Putin is just banking on the political reality here in the US of the unpopularity of going to war in Europe, and the threat of nuclear war.

But if you are serious about actually ending the war.... you have to at least threaten NATO membership, or Putin will NEVER change his behavior.

I had to deal with a similar argument from my wife.

"All those people dying.......Ukraine can't win that war, Putin is the devil, but..."

I wasn't having it. Just let the dude rape you, once he slakes his lust eventually he'll ease off?
Or will he suddenly go after those Polish hotties?

Exactly.... and ZERO agency ever for Putin and Russia.

Like Roxtxia says above, it's like saying a women "underwent" a rape, and therefore its her fault, and the fault of the person standing by watching who just wanted to give her some mace to fend off the rape. No agency for the man that raped her. They should be expected to be able to do it to the women, and the bystanders should go have lunch with him afterwards because it could benefit the bystanders later on if he ends up wanting to do business with them.

It's such an obvious bias that I just want to know where the hell this guy is coming from so maybe we can understand it. But finger wagging at us without any explanation is kind of insulting. Just tell us the truth, and your perspective. If you live in Russia I won't condemn you to hell. If you used to work for RT that's fine. Just freaking tell us why you have this bias.

Trump going back to his Democrat roots and going full war monger mode.

I give it 1 year before all the liberals become Trump supporters.

No - because Russia was attacking Ukraine regardless, because Russia under Putin views Ukraine as part of Russia.

Putin has already attempted several justifications for the attack on Ukraine.

It's just absolutely insane that people will ignore the fact that Putin has been working to bring Ukraine under his control for YEARS. He might have been content to let Ukraine exist on the map as long as it maintained a completely loyal puppet government, but once that fell apart he has been slowly ramping up his efforts to kill Ukrainian leaders, influence politics, start small rebellions, etc. before finally all out invasion.

We live in a very bizarre time where core truths simply do not matter - all someone has to do is claim that there is an alternate truth and that invalidates reality. I have started to see it in our culture across political lines and from Baby Boomers down to children. Science is irrelevant for either political side if it goes against what they want reality to be. The transgender fight is a perfect example of this --- and it has even spilled into Supreme Court rulings, where conspiracy theories discredited are even offered as factual.

It is scary -- but yes, now Putin is the oppressed Russian President that had to protect himself from NATO by.... invading Ukraine after the Ukranian people voted against Russian candidates. I am even seeing it in academic circles now, with a growing sense of empathy for the plight of Nazism and Adolf Hitler.

I feel like I am surrounded by a world that is open to being gaslit because it is more interesting than reality --- and that is fine until many people start dying, which happens with indoctrination.

“We get a lot of bull---- thrown at us by Putin, if you want to know the truth,” Trump said during Tuesday’s Cabinet meeting. “He’s very nice all the time, but it turns out to be meaningless.”

LOL at the very nice part. You've been played Donald. You just never knew it.

Well, either Hegseth is lying again or Trump is, because when Trump was asked who stopped the shipment by a reporter today this was his response....

“I don’t know. Why don’t you tell me?”

Sadly you are being played by the same folks in the mainstream press that brought us the infamous WMD war as well as all the other ill fated forever wars which have hurt many Americans by diverting needed resources from the lower say 80% of Americans. This has led to such pathologies as Trumpism and MAGA.

I along with everyone read the mainstream press and their point of view. I have suggested folks look at folks like Jeffrey Sachs, John Meersheimer, Chas Freeman who are almost never allowed in the mainstream press anymore. We are all influenced by the sources we expose ourselves to.
