this team was feeling themselves too much after sweeping the dodgers, but it turns out the dodgers were slumping and would have been swept against many teams.

Just a letdown series after the great stretch recently. Having to play guys like Short, Hummel, etc. for extended stretches will start to hurt so the pitching letting the team down in this series sucks. Didn't really have to shut the Indians down to win this series but they are allowing an offensive explosion. Oh well.

 

No Meyers and Walker makes a difference in the lineup I think

 

they won like 4-5 series against the best teams in the league. they are allowed to have an off series, especially when injured. im not even mad.

 

I mean half the team is out but you gotta win these close ones

 

I just dont understand WHYTHE**** you put your 1-INNING ACE CLOSER in the 9th during a tie game.

Absolutely winnable game. We lost by 4 runs in a game we should’ve won easily

 

Why don’t we bunt guys over. It just worked against us in the top of the inning.

It was Hader too... and yea, I didn't expect Brown to have no turd starts all year.

 

I doubt Meyers would have been better than Tramell these last two games. The offense wasn’t the problem anyway. You can’t lose two games to the Guardians where you score 5 and 6 runs. They have one of the worst offenses in baseball.
