You know it's bad when Dan Ives says the weakfish Tesla BOD should consider taking action. He's far and away Tesla's biggest cheerleader on Wall Street.

The Elon Musk saga will not end well.

At some point in the future, Elon Musk will be a cautionary case study not only at Harvard Business School, but also their School of Psychology.

I am just dumb founded that he would tweet about trump knowing that maga would turn on him.....................maybe he was drinking his own Kool Aid, but half the country already hated him and now maga is no bueno. If he would have stuck to building rocket ships, he would not be in this mess, but social media will be his downfall, which is ironic since he owns the biggest cancer in social media

I do think the zing about trump being on the Epstein list was funny AF...................and probably true now that the WH says there is no list after saying there was a list

So, Elon started the America Party. I read the process of creating another party requires a lot of filings and such. I don't think a social media tweet covers it.

One guy said Musk owning Twitter was like a drug addict owning a meth lab.

Don't forget, this is the self-described "free speech absolutist" telling someone to shut up when he doesn't like what they say.

Elon Musk is the living, breathing definition of unaware.

the irony is lost on him.

a few years ago posters like @Space Ghost and @CXbby were making fun of me because I said other car companies will inevitably catch up.
Every response was "competition is coming lolzzz"
What they didnt account for was Elon destroying the brand.

    Now it's robots and robotaxi.

Tesla was never a car company they are saying now..

1T in marketcap. Every shareholder better hope the grand visions of robotaxi plays out or else the fall down will be quick.

I don't know what are the exact problems that Ives has, but he comes across as quite clueless for somebody that is well known for tracking Tesla - Musk.

Musk already had a high opinion of himself before his time in - with the Trump Administration. Going back to the Corporate World and being constrained by a BoD (Board of Directors) is something that Musk isn't going to be interested in.

Ives should be able to recognize that.......and yet he doesn't seem to.

Poland to report Musk’s xAI to EU over Grok’s offensive comments

Poland plans to report Elon Musk’s xAI to the European Commission after its chatbot Grok made offensive comments about Polish politicians, including Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Polish Digitisation Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski announced on Wednesday that the government will ask Brussels to investigate the chatbot’s offensive remarks.

"I have the impression that we are entering a higher level of hate speech, which is driven by algorithms, and that turning a blind eye or ignoring this today... is a mistake that may cost humanity in the future," Gawkowski told RMF FM radio.

The minister added that the Ministry of Digitisation will "react in accordance with current regulations" and report the violation to the European Commission to investigate and potentially impose a fine on X. He emphasized that "freedom of speech belongs to humans, not to artificial intelligence."

Poland is not the first country to take action against Grok. A Turkish court previously blocked access to some content from the chatbot after authorities said it generated responses insulting President Tayyip Erdogan, modern Turkey’s founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, and religious values.

Linda Yaccarino steps down as CEO of Elon Musk’s X

Linda Yaccarino on Wednesday announced she is stepping down as CEO of Elon Musk’s social media site X after two years in the role.

Yaccarino’s departure comes one day after Musk’s artificial intelligence chatbot Grok repeatedly made antisemitic comments and referenced Hitler in response to posts about the Texas flooding.

Grok is built by Musk’s company xAI, which merged with X in March in an all-stock transaction that values the AI company at $80 billion and the social media company at $33 billion.

“When @elonmusk and I first spoke of his vision for X, I knew it would be the opportunity of a lifetime to carry out the extraordinary mission of this company,” Yaccarino wrote in a post on X. “I’m immensely grateful to him for entrusting me with the responsibility of protecting free speech, turning the company around, and transforming X into the Everything App.”

Yaccarino did not give a reason for her departure, but her exit had been in the works for more than a week, a person familiar with the matter told NBC News.

Musk responded to Yaccarino’s post on Wednesday and said: “Thank you for your contributions.”

Musk announced he hired Yaccarino as CEO of X in May 2023, months after he purchased the social blogging site Twitter for $44 billion. Throughout her two years as chief executive, Yaccarino acted as a staunch supporter of Musk and repeatedly defended him on social media.

After Musk hurled insults, including “Go f--- yourself,” at advertisers during the 2023 DealBook Summit, for instance, Yaccarino described Musk’s comments as an “explicit point of view about our position.”

“We’re a platform that allows people to make their own decisions,” Yaccarino wrote in a post on X at the time. “And here’s my perspective when it comes to advertising: X is standing at a unique and amazing intersection of Free Speech and Main Street — and the X community is powerful and is here to welcome you. To our partners who believe in our meaningful work — Thank You.”

Yaccarino previously worked at NBCUniversal and rose to the top of the company’s global advertising business. She was primarily tasked with overseeing “business operations” at X, which included trying to placate advertisers as the social platform underwent substantial changes to its safety and content moderation policies.
