Doesn't really matter one way or the other, there's nothing riding on these few games. What will matter is what happens in the regular season. That said, I would expect Sheppard to torch Summer League the way he did the G League where he had an equally trash supporting cast.
I don't mind Moses Brown. There is talent there, he only ever seems to play well in games involving Houston (ie against us), so let's seeing putting him on the Rockets roster makes him decent? Kevon Harris and Cam Mathews and Great Osobor are the first guys we heard about joining SL team, so I assume they are worth watching? I'm curious to see Kevon in particular, looks like an athletic 2 with a scoring mindset whose shot has improved, but plays no defence. Kennedy Chandler is still a young guy with potential. Small PG who can score and playmake (2022 draft faller) Jayden Nunn is the sharpshooter - 4 years college and consistently over 40% from 3. Probably won't play much though? I'm guessing the familiar faces of Sheppard, Dante, Samuels, and Nate Williams set much of the tone
Nah, I need Reed getting all the minutes he can get unless he absolutely destroys the summer league his first 2 games, then he could use the rest. I want to see if Kevon Harris is good enough to be a bench piece for us. People keep saying he's a sharpshooter so let's see it. I watched Carter Bryant play in the other game and dude just looks lost on the court. He was what a lot of people mocked Rockets to draft but he looks like he needs a lot of development before he can be a good role player. He was fouling way too much and is a turnover every time he handles the ball. I wish nothing but the worst for the Spurs who drafted him. Then again, it was just one game, but it was enough for them to not play him the next game which is interesting.
