Wizards are a young team, if Wizards can stay healthy, they will be a decent team

 

Oh for sure there's dirt. I just meant the organization wouldn't waste their time putting out hit pieces on Cam. I would love to know the dirt though.

 

Yeah I don’t get it either. Jalen is a much better player compared to Cam. People were happy we traded Jalen. Addition by subtraction they say. Fine. I can understand that. But the same posters are now crying and screaming from the bottom of their lungs that we traded a malcontent? What in the world.

I can see the return being lower if that was his preferred destination. I don't blame him. Stone probably did him a solid. It's tough asking a young player on a rookie scale contract to sacrifice minutes for the sake of a championship when he hasn't had the opportunity to prove himself. Its a win win. The Rockets have a superstar with two other All-Stars. They're attracting top players around the league who can help them win now (and Reed Sheppard needs more time) Cam gets to go play the game he loves. I wish him the best man he was one of my favorite players on the team.

Don’t like this at all. Makes no sense. Cam’s best value is part of a package for Giannis or another star. Second round picks usually end up playing in Europe. If all you can get are two second rounders, you keep him. Hell, at least see how he does in Sumner League.

Trading him to the East makes it palatable. Not happy with the trade or return, but it is what it is. Hope Cam gets his chance and balls out.

He reminds me so much of Kyle Kuzma. He's going to put up an incredible season in Washington either this year or next, get someone to vastly overpay him, and more less coast for the rest of his career.

 

He might go there and put up a lot shots and score some points in the box score, but he won’t play winning ball. At least not for some years until he learns how to do it. I like Cam it just didn’t work here for him.

Still a waste - but at least Stone is not burning a bridge, we are gonna need someone like Cam when KD breaks apart or gets too old.
