Cam Whitmore traded to Wizards for 2 2nd round picks

Reed better pan out.

 

Don’t like the trade at all. But the organization had 2 years to evaluate him. Not only as a player but whatever else makes this guy tick. Over the years we’ve seen plenty of guys with skill sets off the charts. Only to bounce around the league, never establishing themselves. As others have pointed out, guys like KPJ, Josh Christopher and KJ Martin are prime examples of this. That’s just a couple of recent Rockets. The league is full of them. STG, I thought Nix was the second coming of Deron Williams. I’m serous.

We see the players from warm ups, till the final buzzer. Never heard of any off court problems with Cam. But there’s something there. Stop with the Ime couldn’t break him, so he kicked him to the curb. Ime wants to win. He and Stone came to the conclusion that Cam wasn’t a fit here.

 

I’m still way more pissed about taking Christopher over Grimes than this. Cam was not going to get playing time.

 

I wonder if the Rockets will put out the hit pieces or just let Cam slide?

IB4 he was consistently late for practice, got into heated arguments with the coaching staff on multiple occasions, showed bad body language in the huddles, etc

DD curse. should have kept his head down and waited for his chance. Nba is a place were talent goes to die. imagine not wanting to learn from KD.

 

The Amen/Reed combination is the future at point Garden shooting guard. The small forward will have to be longer and be more of a defensive specialist and guy that is content with his role.

 

All three low feel players have been purged this offseason lol.

(Technically Jabari and Tari are, too. But we give a pass to dogs.)

I think this will be very peaceful on both sides. Stone has proven that he’s a players GM and didn’t even badmouth John Wall. He’s the opposite of Morey

 

Reed better show something because the Rockets need it, if he flat lines and KD goes down the perimeter is going to be in tough shape offensively.

 

Cam should thank Stone for sending him to a team like WAS.

 

The only reasonable conclusion is there is only room for one Cam in Houston

 

I’ve erased a lot of that time from my memory, but what did John Wall do to where he would get badmouthed? I don’t remember anything egregious from him

 

I think two high 2nds are worth a late 1st. Maybe even more

 

He hasn't done enough to deserve hit pieces.

 

This sucks but good for the Wizards, they have young players, if Wizards can stay healthy, I think they will be a decent team

 

Gotta admit, I didn't have "Cam's fans freaking out and crying more than Jalen's fans did" on my bingo card, but here we are lmao...
