Not necessarily. He could get the Jalen Green treatment there. They are tanking.

Agreed on getting older but there is always the option to just draft players in 27/29 to reload after the KD era.

Hearing we wanted Marcus Smart, but Wizards said no. Apparently the hickup was adding Jeenathan Williams.

Cam Whitmore breaking his leg in High School is concerning.

Plate, Rod, Screws. His health does scare me, every time he lands on the floor.

We're still nowhere near an old team, our entire young core is still intact.

Are we really getting that much older?

Alpi, Tari, Jabari, Amen, and Reed are all under 25. DFS is 3 years older than Dillon. Fred, Steven, and Clint are all 31. The only real jump in age was replacing 23 year old Jalen with soon-to-be 37 year old KD.

I doubt he's toxic in the sense of being disruptive or causing drama (thought maybe "toxic" in the way he appraoches the game). He seems quiet and withdrawn most of the time. What’s been publicly stated by both the coaching staff and by him was a lack of consistent effort - not results, but effort (outside of maybe Sengun, no one on this team had consistent performance). I know some here have called that hypocrisy, but it’s not. Udoka values effort, even more than performance. He’s said many times that you live with the results, but you’ve got to give max effort - and Cam, at times, looks like he’s giving 5%.

Coaches generally don't like malcontents who don't follow expectations.

just read that Cam was going to be included in the KD trade, but PHX preferred more 2nd round picks over him

My dude, when I said "there are no teams without holes," implicit in this- for those who read, speak and write English competently- is the idea that one of the holes in our team is a lack of depth at the guard position. Keep up.

I can believe that, apparently Cam is from the Washington area and Stone has dealt guys where they wanted to go instead of getting the better deal.

Durant is tall. And he’s not going to use a quick first step to get to the rim and generate shots for people. That being said, his height and intelligence will probably be more effective than green in creating shots for others.. so he will function as a guard to a certain extent

Outside of that we have FVV/Amen/Reed/Holiday.

guard depth is not a problem.

Ime is horrible on developing young talents.

Cam is just 20 year old.

Wish so…..he’s the scrub of all scrubs, but now becomes a major bench piece for us.
