Horford would be a great fit with Denver as well.

I’d know where I’d go if I were Horford, easily to Denver.

He would. That’s why I hope he doesn’t go there or to the Warriors. Stay in the East!

I just don't like the Capela signing at all.

It's just a weird signing, I was really surprised by it. He isn't what he used to be and seems kind of redundant. I don't hate it, it's hard to get too upset about something that's such a small percentage of the cap, but it's strange. I guess they just don't have a lot of faith in Steve-O's ability to stay on the court.

I think they always want one of them to be fresh each and every game to crash the glass for 10-15 mins.

We already have three ELITE offensive rebounders in Adams, Amen, and Tari. How many of those do they want to stockpile? At some point, you need to address the weak link that is holding us back to go any farther, which is shooting and creating, especially from the backcourt. Capela gives us none of those things.

Agreed, just trying to rationalize the signing.

If shooting and creating become issues, hopefully they can address mid-season.

Yup, this signing might come back to bite us in the ass.

Bear in mind it isn't strictly a 'sign Capela or use the money on anyone else we choose' type signing. It needed to be a player from the Hawks up to $X maximum and who wanted to come here.

Capela is great insurance at the C spot. No doubt about it. I think the issue isn't that we don't have guards, it is more than we have almost $15M tied up in 2 guards we don't yet trust (Reed and Cam).

There may be ways to address the problem as the season progresses, we have a wide enough range of matching salaries to find someone
