I think Cam has shown he is too good for Summer League, for that to do anything for him. He was already the SL MVP. The issue is what Cam will do off-court to prepare, and having his attitude right. If Cam accepts an SL invite and shows professional maturity about it, that would be a good look for him
DD knows talent. We will revisit this thread when Cam is putting up 25 points a night or more with his new team.
And I never said DMo was going to be a great player just that I wanted him, and so did Morey, we just tried to lowball him and he sued the NBA and they paid him out....so yeah....Dmo was fine...and he played 15 more years.....with his ....ehem bad back... DD
We already know he's too good for Summer League and G-League. Problem is Udoka doesn't give him much chance to play in the NBA. When he did something Udoka didn't like. Back to the end of the bench.
I thought for sure when he and Reed started against OKC this past season and Cam scored 27 pts, Ime was going to give him some minutes. However, he never saw the court again
If the Rockets are adamant on trading CW to the Lakers, then they should get back their 2026 unprotected 1st round pick and two good 2nd round picks.
Just one negative note about Aries moon, which I think you are over looking. Aries is the child of the zodiac. The moon represents the emotions. Aries moons, when upset, act like petulant children and get angry very quickly and lash out. They often have poor control of their emotions and are very explosive when angry. I've known people with his Sun- Moon combination and they were just like him. Cancer Sun - moody, unpredictable emotions mixed with Aries moon - hot tempered and quick to act on it. Honestly, not the person you want around the locker room.
The solution to our offensive woes is an assistant coach in charge of astrology. Ime should consult with our own astrological expert in determining his rotations each night.
Summer league doesn’t provide anything of benefit to Cam. In fact, it would encourage him taking over the offense and padding stats, instead of what he really needs to work on. It can be useful to Reed as it will help him take the wheel and be more confident. Cam has too much confidence if anything. It doesn’t look like the Rockets are taking summer league very serious to me. We really don’t have any young guys that are anywhere near rotation minutes to have anything to prove, other than Reed. I predict Reed plays 2 games or so and then we scrub it out the rest of summer league.
