    I think S&T for Capela itself already triggered the first apron hard cap, if I am not mistaken.

    Yes. Except for the 2031 second round pick swap and cash going to Atlanta. That is separate for the Capela S&T. Nothing else "new" coming from Houston.

    The Rockets have already agreed to players more than the NT-MLE. There is no way the Rockets can add Capela and DFS without one of them being a sign-and-trade.

    Exactly, any trade of this magnitude would almost assuredly include Cam, which is the point. Even if it's just to recoup some of our second round picks, look at the Nets in this proposed trade for example...

    OK this is OK. Throwing Cam in there would be stupid. Helping the Lakers would be stupid. This looks like none of that.

    Nothing is really triggered until July 7th. As it stands now if we release Landale and everything else is in place we are about 1m under the 1st apron. After the dust settles with everything I am sure the Rockets will be a few dollars under the 1st apron. If they trade Cam for no returning salary they will be under by about 4M. I’m no expert, but I think that is the situation.

    Has Tari signed his extension yet, Amen and Reed still have theirs left.

    Barring any changes at the Whitmore front, we would not have to worry about his extension.

    I mean the Tate, Uncle, Holiday extensions feel like they just want cheap players, but those are as good as gone as well, just a matter of time.
