Fortunately, I am not on either "side". If people break the law, it is sufficient reason to impose the penalty for breaking said law. When I drive over the speed limit, I accept the consequence of a speeding ticket. If someone is in the country illegally the appropriate consequence is deportation. I'm sorry you find that "brain dead", but those are the laws that Congress have passed and the President has signed (not this President, btw).

This is what incompetence looks like ...

The US government canceled several federal agencies' subscription to Nature and other scientific journals. A spokesman for the Department of Health and Human Services said all contracts with Springer Nature, Nature's publisher, had been "terminated" and that taxpayer money should not be used on "junk science."​

Rigorous science is now "junk" science. FTW.

 

So ****ing tired of this attack on intellectualism - and pretending opinion is the same as science.

Anyone that supports this **** is a traitor to this great country.
