I don’t agree with Zohrans policies, it’s not as simple as freezing rent.

however, the racist and xenophobic open attacks with threats to take away his citizenship are so far off what’s acceptable that he’s going to get even more support. This is just a big **** you to those very people doing the smears and they don’t realize they’re helping him in the long run

In a June 11 memo, DOJ attorneys were told to prioritize denaturalization in cases where a naturalized citizen has committed certain crimes. Approximately 25 million Americans are naturalized citizens—individuals who were not born in the United States but have obtained full citizenship. ​
