Last time Altuve looked at strike 2 and strike 3 in consecutive pitches was like 1943.

What the hell is going on with Altuve. So many times he’s stepped up to the plate and in my head I’m like “oh this is time he usually does damage” and he’s either striking out or reaching to the other side of the plate hitting some dinky pull grounder to third

 

I’d love to know the last time he didn’t swing at all in a plate appearance lol

Altuve was thinking "called ball" before those last 2 pitches were thrown, especially the last one.
