Have been calling for Denver to trade him for a while now, seeing him butcher their possessions the past few years having always had Jokic in fantasy, hurt me a lot.

Bruce Brown back to the Nuggets is a solid pick up - his off ball movement and cutting is vital for Jokic.

MPJ huge problem is that he doesn't pass the Ball at all when he gets it, completely ignores his teammates.

 

Yeah, Brown can also score at times.

Nice moves by Denver. I think they still need one more solid rotation player to step back into "true contender" status, but they definitely got better.

 

Great trade by the Nuggets but seems like their money comes too little too late. Who is left for that MLE? Gary Trent prob wished he waited a little bit.

MPJ is a good player. But he is seldom 100% healthy. Nets get a damaged good. Hope they suck until we finish using their pick.

 

2032 unprotected is a heavy price to pay for a guy who's a total zero on defense but money is the only thing that ownership group cares about

 

They have a window with Jokic and they need to take advantage of it. I don't think the deal was worth it from a talent perspective, but considering that Cam can provide them what MPJ was already providing plus the Nuggets have some room to sign some more help, I think it's the price they are paying to attempt to be competitive with Jokic.

 

Thought Brown was in Toronto but now he's rejoining the Nuggets?

 

Ya i understand it, Cam is just SO injury prone and SO bad on defense that it's rough, since all they gained is cash savings.

 

Free agent. He got traded from Toronto to New Orleans at the deadline in the Brandon Ingram trade. Hasn't done much at all since leaving Denver.
