Kinda hate giving up on the youth but F*** them kids... OKC young and experienced now... We wasn't beating OKC waiting on Jalen Green and Cam to become " the guy" no damn way.. 1. Hate to see Sengun and his loyal subjects gone, due to entertainment purposes ,but oh well if he's the building block MIL wants 2. I'm guessing Tari will be outta here as well.. Gonna miss his momma 3. Those picks probably gone too but the time for gathering more youngsters was clearly not on Ime's timeline.. 4. Hoping Reed stays but if not, oh well. I'm no Greek Freak fan but if you're able to pair him with KD and keep a top tier budding superstar like Amen, you do it.. Shooting was gonna be an issue regardless so it don't hurt too much IMO.. I'm clearly staying ready so I won't have to get ready for incoming bombshell , so lock if Giannis aint here within the week Lmao
They probably knew Udoka was high on Veterans more than we did. And that Udoka was desperate to win anything after Boston.
Understandable BTG... but IMO, you still get a good 4 years of potential 27+/10 from Giannis..Are you that confident that we'd beat OKC if we stayed the course over the next 3 or 4 years?
When Udoka wants something, he takes it. No waiting. Spoiler Does he want Giannis? Or is this “good enough”? Has his itch been scratched?
I think we're still worse than OKC if we make the trade, and I also think we get less than 4 years from Giannis
I don't think Giannis will be an NBA caliber player 4 years from now. He's one of those guys who derives all of his value from freak athleticism, as soon as it dips, he'll be learning Chinese with Dwight Howard. I personally think the current team (which I know will still change a bit before it's done) is a better overall team. They have many different ways of attacking teams and legitimately have 11 quality players. They can go double big in 2 different ways, they can go small, they have shooters, they have rebounders, they have athleticism, they have defense for days.....and it's not a team that will be set to die when KD ages out. It's a team that can win now, and can win for the foreseeable future. Give me that over a 2 or 3 year Giannis gamble that you'd have to gut the team for.
I’m totally opposed to any Giannis trade. At least right now. I feel like we are “going for” it with this roster. Hell, I’m not sure a roster we would have to tear down to pair Giannis with KD would be better than what we currently have, and we have way more flexibility going forward.
I feel half the league is copying the initial Rockets approach to plug in veterans with young players. The Battle begins .....whoever has the best Balance.
I feel like I’m taking crazy pills seeing a bunch of people yapping about how they don’t want GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO on this basketball team Have people lost their minds?
