Purchased championships don't have the same feel. It's already bad enough we have Durant, but at least he's towards the end of his career. If we won with KD and Giannis I would not be as excited had we won with the Sengun/Amen/Jabari core. Let's see where we are around mid-January before going crazy.
If we don't make the move for Giannis... I'm still good with our chances. I know some may feel different.
Giannis has not got out of the first round 6 out of 10 times in the playoffs. 2 times not out of the second round. Two conference finals appearances with one loss. One ring where they went through the “gauntlet” of Heat, Nets, Hawks and Suns
I will still remain a Rockets fan, bit trading most our youn players would make me feel like we are just trying to buy a chanpionship. Not a good look.
Giannis would be the center if the Rockets trade for him. Assuming Sengun is part of the Bucks return, you would likely have a starting lineup of: VanVleet Thompson Durant Jabari Smith Jr Giannis With Finney Smith, Sheppard, Adams and Capela on the bench. And, you’ll either still have one of Eason or Whitmore or plenty of future picks, depending on Milwaukee’s preference.
Nah. That parade would still hit as hard. Seeing that championship banner would still hit as hard. Ring night would be amazing. I want to win with Sengun but whatever it takes to win a championship.
We're taking our talents to South Beach. Well, maybe East Beach? Latinos, gays ("not that there's anything wrong with that"), and poo-brown water.
No to Giannis. I like the squad we have. The finals this year showed that you need an army of wing players. Depth matters.
Dude. It’s the Houston Rockets. Are you a fan of the team, or are you a fan of the players? Garbage take. The Rockets could win a title with Steph Curry and LeBron James and I wouldn’t care any less
