Signing a 3 & D wing tells me A.) They really like Reed Sheppard B.) They think Amen is going to keep improving offensively, and C.) Sadly, Cam Whitmore's days as a Rocket are probably numbered. Yeah, it just started. We have little salary to move now unless you want to trade someone from the core and basically no room under the tax to make moves. So, any move will most likely be small. Big Shepp fan, but he was miles away from being ready on defense. Relying on him to play a large role seems questionable at best.

You make a good point. I love Tari, but this signing puts additional pressure on him to earn his playing time. To start the season, he and DFS will come off the bench to become a second version of the Terror Twins. I love it.
Stone says he's untouchable, accept for Giannis obviously, so I like that a lot. Plus Cam is as good as gone now, so that could potentially bring in a player or cap relief as well... Don't be shocked if we snag Kennard. GT Jr. I think is out of our range now...
