    Might be worse than Sengun’s.

When all of the worst posters on the board dislike it, you know it must be pretty good.

    Lmao.

    Sengun’s extension is objectively good.

    You say some funny things.

I said before we should have locked Jalen up for 5 years instead of 3. And I stand by that.

Maybe he can get good enough to create his own shot for $100 million dollars and also become a better shooter?

Actually he probably can't, at least as far as the first one goes. Not athletic enough, not good enough handles maybe the second one he can actually - have an above average shooting season from deep - once?

It's just not tenable to alter your offense in the NBA in the year 2025 to feature a not very skilled offensive player and deliberately increase his time on the ball - not going to happen

    You're just trolling, right?
The Jalen Green worship / Sengun hate....all just an act, right?

I'm afraid it's not, it seems that he really is just that foolish.

So you think the rockets will regret the KD trade yet you have a KD avatar?

I mean, KD is alright I guess, but he's no superstar like Jalen "the next Kobe" Green.

He’s going to be better than Aaron Gordan. I’ll settle for that. 24.5 is a steal. That solidifies our defense. Now we need one more combo guard that can shoot and defend adequately.

IMO this is a great deal for the Rockets, if Smith ends up continuing his developmental trajectory. And I'm betting he will.

For Smith, I thought he'd go for a shorter contract, maybe a three year, so that he can aim for a bigger deal long term. And not having any option for the final years, player or team, was surprising. I suppose it could be a sign that both sides are happy to maintain the working relationship.

But any way you look at it, this is a massive amount of money that is life-changing. So, congrats to Smith and hope he grows to be a key piece for the Rockets' championship run.

Just like coaches, some fans only see one side of the ball. Jabari is an absolute glue piece to our defense. Reid is not a good defensive player. With the offensive opportunities Jabari will be the far better all around player than Reid. He may not get any more opportunities this year if Ime runs the same offense, but 24.5 is a value contract for a 22 year old with his length, defense, rebounding, shooting and work ethic.

So if you reverse it from his angle, he basically held himself back from blowing up and becoming better just to help the team.

Wasted 2 years of development and didn't get paid as much as he would have with better production.

I dunno if that is sad or what.

Now Udoka can finally call plays for him and not worry about raising his contract demand.

Some guys are more about work ethic and realizing that 25m is generational money. He had a professional basketball player as a father so he is not coming from a place of poverty and doesn’t have the burden of some young players. From all indications he is an introspective young guy that isn’t really all that interested in the fast life. Ime loves guys that put team above personal interests. Cam should take note.

Or you could just say Ime sacrificed him for his style of play, for this type of speeding things up......

Don't know if he gets left behind even staying on the team ..... couple of our guys could have been on worse teams but developed further.

Plus Ime is extremely slow at fixing rotational mistakes.....he mostly uses spirit and motivation like him telling the players to start altercations.
