Time will tell for sure. Interesting enough Jabari is still a few weeks younger than Bridges was when he played his 1st nba game as a rookie.

 

His game would never be predicated on athleticism and high flying therefore it does not really matter if he is 21, 22, 23 or 24.

It only gives him more years in his career, making more money.

Probably makes 1 or 2 All Star appearances if the Flagg and Dybantsa group have a hard time.

 

Yeah, that kept his volume lower than otherwise .... and probably saved the Rockets some cap space with the cost of this contract.
Had he been given the opportunities that were handed to Jalen, I think his counting stats would have been much higher than they are currently just on sheer volume and as a result he'd want more $$$.

I think this is a pretty solid contract by Stone, many were talking about 5/150 not long ago. He's had a fantastic offseason, even if I didn't want him to go after Durant (mainly thinking it would come at a greater cost) but it's hard to complain about giving up DB & getting out of Jalen's $105m and giving up only the 10 pick while hanging onto the rest of those draft picks.
Would like to see him pick up a quality combo guard as insurance for the development of Reed & Amen and the health of FVV.
