    After just two seasons of Durant giving Jabari all of his cheat codes, this extension is going to be a steal.

    I’ve said before, but Bari is a perfect fit next to Amen and Sengun. Fits like a glove. Need to use this season to see if Sheppard works out, because conceptually is he also perfect next to those three.

    Jabari is still on his rookie contract going into next season (his age-22 season). You're betting on his upside that he makes a leap playing next to KD in a more efficient offense in the post-Jalen era. If he shows improvement, then the contract will look real nice over the course of that contract.

    Naz Reid is entering his age-26 season making about the same money. While Reid is the better player currently, Jabari has more upside.

    But I think the distinction should be made between what is a player worth this contract and a player that we are hoping he can reach and eventually outplay this contract. Jabari needs to take a step up just to reach Naz Reid level of play. And he needs to take two steps forward for this contract to be considered a bargain. I think some fans are already banking on the two steps forward when even one step forward is still TBD.

    Is he finally going to the gym this offseason?

    Dude needs a new trainer. They got him doing Pilates and pickle ball lessons like he’s about to train for dancing with the stars. I want him with Brian Cushing and Liver King doing blow with strippers and hunting elk!!!
