If there is politics and capitalism, you know there is corruption, same thing.

Just saw the NCAA's first "only a loser would harass a college athlete after losing a bet" (actual quote) tv commercial.

I'm sure it'll do a lot of good.

Pete Rose, according to him, bet responsibly.
so did Art Schlichter, the standout QB from Ohio State, and a former NFL 1st round pick

Sports gambling needs to stay in casino sportsbooks and "underground" apps and such. The sponsoring of major sports leagues, commercials, and advertisements need to stop. Major sports own homepages posting odds on games needs to stop. You can't have it plastered all over your league and not expect your players to inevitably get involved. You're corrupting your own game by having your feet in it.

Mostly contenders but I guess some bottom teams and teams that have Play In aspirations might have some extra spending to do.

"Months after this investigation commenced, Malik remains uncharged and is not the target of this investigation," Haney told ESPN. "An allegation with no charge, indictment or conviction should never have the catastrophic consequence this has caused Malik. This has literally been the opposite of the presumption of innocence."

    Thank you!
    I’ve always made this argument!

It’s super rare for any government to truly do anything for your actual safety or health nowdays anymore.

if they really cared, they wouldn’t allow alcohol, junk food, fast food, limit social media use etc.

Not to get political, but that’s the conundrum of society. I personally don’t believe any human being has the right to tell another human being what to do if THEIR ACTIONS HAVE NO DIRECT EFFECT OR IMPACT ON ANOTHER HUMAN BEING.
Also unfortunately in this day and age we know that’s impossible to live by, so now where do you draw the line on rules & laws to keep innocent bystanders safe without overstepping the boundaries of human freedoms & progress?

it’s amazing we have 1000’s to millions of laws and society still does destructive stuff to each other by the minute.

Laws don’t take the human out of humans, it just scares them to not want to act on their impulses which is the issue.

it’s the easiest road to superficially make people obey, but the true way is through lessons, teaching, psychological evaluations etc but that’s very complex and nuanced and difficult to do instead of just passing a new law.

So as long as we try to just law make our way to force humans to obey, the results will always be inefficient or truly overall impactful.

Criminals & psychopaths don’t care about laws, only the people who are willing to follow them do. Ironically

As someone who doesn’t have an addictive personality, but when I put my energy and focus into something I get obsessed with.

I can 1000 percent agree with you!

I jumped in about a year ago because I got an offer from prize pick for a free promo.

I coincidentally won like $500 in my first week and I had NO clue what I was doing at all.

I quickly squandered it away trying to multiply my winnings from greed as MOST people do.

Then I started to roam the prizepick discords to basically pick up info and cherry pick picks from the general consensus or the “gurus” in the thread. That was actually not a bad strategy, but the problem was I was basically spamming bets to hope something hits, so the math was against me.

I then found a YouTuber who broke down the actual understanding, math, strategy involved and he had a discord you could join. It was literally like being told about the matrix and you realized how much you don’t S#!T compared to pro betters. That guy actually knew his stuff and he basically almost exclusively ran 6-mans because of the math (which I’m not going to get into). For any bettors just to show you the level of success he / the discord was at. It became normal routine to hit a 6-man every week atleast. A bad drought was going 2-3 weeks without a 6-man and even within that, we would get like 5/6 or 4/6 so just bad breaks.
He also explained bankroll management etc. so it’s technically no different than investing in stocks or crypto or anything.
It took ALOT of research and tools that I paid monthly for to get advanced stats on all kinds of things.
Basically I actually figured out a decent system and I personally hit a couple of 6 man demons based on my own strategy. And I co to ied to improve and learn and figure out new things etc.

with that said, we went on a horrible streak of droughts and it wasn’t just my discord, but other discords etc. prize picks started removing the plays that we knew were good picks, they started account limiting a lot of the top guys in our group. And it just seemed like a string of bad luck on top of that.and I literally but ed through my whole account, I had instances where I was on literal my last $5 or $20 and would luck up and hit and be back I. The game and eventually I added like maybe $100-200 to it to try and get back in the game.

but like I said, thank GOD I don’t have an addictive personalIt’s. So when I blew through that I was out for good.
It’s sad because I would still check I. The discords and see those guys still trying to recover or dump more money in. 1 guy was 19 and he had got decent but we all hit that drought and I was worried it was going to be an addiction for him.

The time, energy, knowledge, investment in apps & tools you have to put in it to actually view it as a source of income or investment or actual system is literally another job or your hobby.

is it possible to do it as safe and actual legit way yes definitely, the likelyhood of the average person doing that is HIGHLY unlikely.

They leverage human greed, for instance I almost always did 6-mans or flex because even if you don’t hit all the picks, you can recover like 40% of your money back or even still get 2x if you just miss one which keeps your bankroll from depleting quick, but most people are going to do all or nothing out of greed and the math tells you your going to lose that way.

The scariest thing is since I was deep into that, the amount of info, stats, systems the avg person who just randomly picks a prop because it’s a popular player or because they “think “ it will hit is crazy. They have NO IDEA what they are going against or how blind they are to everything. There’s professional gurus with countless tools and analytics and math on their side and then the actual sportsbooks and apps that literally have statisticians and teams that actively remove the props you took time to find that probably would hit.

It technically it’s my a bad thing BUT when you factor HUMAN GREED, Sportsbooks CORPORATE GREED to not fairy put up all the props and remove the good ones.

it definitely is something that should be avoided and is a losing strategy
