I will always appreciate how Villian Dillion helped steer the Rocket ship back to orbit.

I was on the boat with the signing from the beginning and he made me even more of a fan his time here.

Unfortunately, the untimely techs and bone headed shooting fouls did not help in clutch moments.

    Respect to Dillion.

As a person I really have had to do a 180 since I hated that cringe persona in Memphis and turns out he’s a great dude who seems very likeable. However, the villain stuff I did not care for since for the most part he wasn’t getting under many players skin, it seemed to hurt us more than it gained us and when push came to shove he just didn’t bring what you would expect from the persona he was trying to portray. I will appreciate what he brought to the team but will always dislike the tough guy ACT, since that’s what it was and always will be.

Dillon Brooks played a huge role in building the culture Coach Udoka's been trying to instill. Say what you want, but open sources and what we've seen show he's always been a solid teammate. When we were about to lose, he brought that fire. Most nights, he was the big brother this young squad needed.

I don’t care what happened before he came to Houston — that ain’t relevant to me. I love this dude. I’m real sad to see him go. I just hope he finds peace and happiness wherever he lands.

No matter what folks say, I got endless respect for this man. Honestly, let me put it like this: we don’t even know if he’s staying in Phoenix, but wherever he ends up, I’ll be watching that team play — just 'cause Brooks is there.

Thanks, villain. You’ll always be good in my book.

Brooks was good for the Rockets. He was a real floor raiser and helped establish a culture for a team that desperately needed one. I wish that the Rockets could have kept him but he became expendable due to the rise of Amen, Tari and Bari.

I also wouldn’t mind him coming off of the bench, but I didn’t like his decision-making in the playoffs and I just don’t know if the strong shooting would’ve maintained.

He was hitting shots that I didn’t really want him taking. He had declined a little bit, but was still a good defender. But he was a bad passer and rebounder.

I’m fine with those shots /mins/opporunities going to Tari and Jabari.

As predicted when he was signed and a lot weren't in favour of it, he made a lot of fans in Houston.

Shame he's going, but he always was a signing that wouldn't last the length of the contract.

With such a negative trade asset in Jalen, the Rockets were going to lose something important to ship Jalen out.
