This ^ Was listening to a Kings podcast, he was playing theortical trades with another team's credential media person (MIA), on who's tradable. Seems like almost all were for sale: From Sabonis, to Demar, to Zach, to Malik or even Keegan. Kings is a bit directionless right now, but the one name they want to keep in the future rebuild was Keon. If people asked for these names 1 or 2 seasons ago, then a steal possibly, but not after the glow-up.
If they are going to use their NTMLE on a FA and that’s their final move of the offseason, then I would have to think that they would use it on a guard. Gary Trent Jr Luke Kennard Malcom Brogdon Bruce Brown Tim Hardaway Jr DeAngelo Russel Tyus Jones All of the above fit what the Rockets need but my favorite are Kennard. His shooting off of the bench would be huge. However, if they are skeptical about Reed’s ability to contribute next year then they could go with Russell or Jones.
My bad, looks like the Ball trade to Cleveland is indeed a white flag move by the Cavs that Jerome is going to leave for another team. I didn't realize that Lonzo still has that bloated contract geez. Well, it looks like there's a chance for us to bid for his services but I doubt we'll be able to afford him given that he might command somewhere in the $18M range.
I think they should check in with Jerome. The full NT-MLE would be 4 years and 62 million. Only Detroit and Brooklyn could pay more than that without a sign and trade deal.
