I agree with you. The two man game will lead us to success.

    both teams won the trade,

Rockets get the best closer on the market.

I expect Phx to be a competitive team next season. Dillon Brooks alone raises their floor. Jalen is a solid player and the Suns knocked it out of the park with the draft assets we gave them.

Fleming and Maluach are 2 guys I wanted for the Rockets but we got KD so who cares. One negative thing from all this is I'm not so high the 2027 and 2029 PHX picks anymore

Are you speaking for the Rockets or for OKC here? We split with them last year and I'm sure nobody on that OKC team wants to go against the Rockets for 7 games in the second round. To win the championship, you must play the best teams--who cares what round it is?

just came across this video from last offseason, and Jabari was getting cooked extra crispy

he was getting cooked all kinda ways: deep fried Bari…sautéed Bari…boiled Bari…oven baked Bari

hopefully KD can teach him a thing or 2 sort of like how Harden helped Maxey to develop

The problem with the Suns' current situation is still the same issue, they have too many damn guards/wings. That roster is still really weird. Maluach and Fleming seem like good gets on paper, but you never really know, and Khaman in particular is really young and raw, and may not be able to contribute positive minutes for a year or two.

They could be better... or they could be even worse. Neither outcome would surprise me. I can envision Maluach and Fleming being borderline unplayable--statistically, that's more likely than them being starting-caliber players. I can envision JG regressing on defense with Ime out of the picture for him, and failing to improve as a jump shooter, in which case I don't see him really boosting the win total for PHX, especially on a roster with like four other shooting guards. Mark Williams could get hurt and miss a lot of games. And they have little flexibility to fix any of these issues given that we own their picks and they're about to hand Devin Booker the highest AAV contract in the NBA.

I wouldn't write off those Phoenix picks just yet; they may still end up in a situation where Booker demands a trade and forces them into a rebuild whether they like it or not.

Yeah and I agree there is too much payroll tied to the SG position but I fully expect them to buy out Beal and could see them dealing Grayson Allen.

The rookies are still rookies and these guys might be the next Hasheem Thabeet and Anthony Bennett. I am usually high on prospects for emotional reasons but I still believe both have all the tools to make it in the NBA. One thing is for sure Suns added a lot of lengthy youth. And that worries me just a bit especially bc Dillon Brooks will keep them in check.

As far as Jalen goes, he will win Phx some games in the regular season and if Book can stay healthy he won't need to be the player he needed to be in Houston. Say what you want about Jalen but he is a solid regular season player and helped us win 52 games.

Still here's to PHX imploding and having to trade Book to Detroit or hell I'd love him in Houston for the picks

I just finished looking at some Durant film from 24/25 and I understand that he's turning 37 but man... we talking about the Rockets. A team with a strong defensive mentality... we can win at least one championship with him!

The Suns have a more "complete team" than before but the Roxs are the overwhelming winners here.

Just concerned about the defensive toughness we lost with Brooks. He was a big part of why we were called a physical team and teams didn’t like playing us.

Dillon did play a huge part. I do see us stepping up and playing good team defense. Be nice to get one more shooter at the 2 that's tough.

They could have drafted everyone except Flagg and it still would not be the best draft class.
