Agree to disagree. Calling the whole of Udoka as "incompetent" is like saying MLK was a plagiarist. While that might be true, that is completely tone-deaf and ignores all broader context. As a coach, the ONLY thing that matters is winning. Said another way, no coach has been admitted to the HOF because they were good at developing players. Udoka is a winning coach. In Udoka's system, if the player helps win games, then they'll play. Amen played, Jabari played, Tari played. Reed and Cam didn't play because they were worse players than FVV, Jalen, and Dillion. Reed had a chance to play ahead of Holiday, and he wasn't ready.
I think Cam will Well said...you play defense for Udoka then you have a chance making the rotation. We all know Reed is better than Holiday, but early on he was a defensive liability and was scared to shoot the ball. I would love to see him maneuver more with the ball in pick-n-roll situations...his IQ is high and that's why I want us to pick up CP3 so he can mentor Reed.
You should have realized that I called him incompetent within the context of what was being discussed, player management. Teams don't win when it matters if the coach is incompetent at player management even if they are amazing at other aspects. There's a reason your Tom Thibodeau Rick Adelman types never win anything as head coaches... are they great coaches at some things? Unquestionably.... will they ever lead a team to a championship? No chance.
I’m from a place we don’t call young black men garbage!!! Not in this house @Snow Villiers @Drexlerfan22
The fact you call Tate garbage and he's one of our valuable bench guys tells me some Rocket fans are idiots
Thank **** it didn't take me long to find someone sticking up for Unc. I can't believe they called this man trash when he steps on the court and gets BUCKETS every single time without fail. Maybe the second best dunker after Amen now that Jalen's gone too haha.
Did Udoka lose to the Warriors in 2022 because he's incompetent? Or maybe it was because he was playing against one of the all-time great teams that had the best player on the court who was averaging 31ppg. Curry > Tatum Curry >>>>> Jalen Green (btw) That's why Udoka lost to GS. Not because he's an inferior player manager.
