I can speak for myself and myself only here, but I hate his style of play. There are players who don't think the game is a 5 on 5 game. I think the best version of this player that I've ever seen was Carmelo Anthony and even though he's a hall of famer, I never liked his game. You pass the ball to them and any and all flow of the game stops. Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, KPJ, Wood, there's lots of examples of players like this where I know the moment it touches their hands, the flow of the game stops. Is he young and can learn? Absolutely. Do I think he will, not really.

I don't mind his attitude. I think that his attitude could be turned from a negative into a positive.

If we were playing SPADES, it would be we have a solid 4 and 2 possibles

Sengun - is an All -Star
Jabari - potential All - Star
    Amen - potential All -Star
    Tari - solid role player
Cam - potential to be a Star (but can he accept coaching?)
Reed - he has to show SOMETHING this yr.

Next yr, they need to find another high scoring wing!

That is true, IKO is Clickbait Charlie....all this is.....is Shams says something and other DESPERATE for clicks people pick it up and spread it....there is zero evidence or sources for it.....his source is shams, who was speculating.....IKO is just not a good source anymore.

    Thanks.

He could be traded, but I don't see anything happening until we have another wing in the fold or agreed to, if you traded him without that it would leave a gaping hole.

I just think there is nothing pressing for Stone ATM - and if he wants to trade he can do it in December when FVV becomes tradeable - so it makes sense to wait and see....we have a stacked team as it currently sits.

Hopefully, KD helps Cam step back and assess how he can be successful and then the young man does as you say, "...take it to heart."

Would love to see Cam focus his energy and immense physical talent into becoming an all-around player and not just a human highlight film.

Can he make the mental shift? Hopefully, it happens this year and we see him begin his transition. If not, he could be gone by the trade deadline.

Durant has never been that type of player. That’s more of a cp3 or Iggy type of role.
And that’s ok, we didn’t bring in Durant for his leadership or mentoring. We brought him in for his basketball abilities.

Are we talking about David Wood or Christian Wood? Davis only attempted 4 shots per game in his one season here.

I read somewhere he actually wanted to come to Houston to mentor our young players. I was too lazy to find exact article, so I let AI respond...

"Yes, it's reported that Kevin Durant was interested in joining the Houston Rockets to mentor their young core of players. According to reports, Durant was excited about the prospect of playing with a young and talented team like the Rockets, which includes players such as Amen Thompson, Alperen Şengün, and Jabari Smith Jr. This suggests that at this stage in his career, Durant was looking for a chance to mentor and lead a team of rising stars, in addition to competing for a championship.

Durant's connection with Rockets coach Ime Udoka also played a role, as they have a history of working together from their time with Team USA and the Brooklyn Nets. This familiarity and mutual respect likely contributed to Durant's interest in joining the Rockets.

Essentially, the move to Houston gives Durant an opportunity to combine his desire to win with a chance to positively impact the development of a young team."

I tried to block out those memories where we pinned the future of the franchise on him.
