I think they realize that they need to have semi competitive team around Booker to have a chance of keeping him in the upcoming year. They can get future picks in a Booker trade if it comes to that so why keep it when the need of the hour is to build around Booker. They are hedging their bet by going younger. If Booker leaves then Green can potentially take his place as the upcoming star to sell to their fan. If few young propspect breaks out then they can go hunt for another star to pair with Booker.
Nah it’s just a complete pass-through of the stupidity and absurdity and madness of their owner in Ishbia. And I absolutely love it.
Some people just havent felt that type of struggle. It is a real life defining thing and will make you fall into a depth you cant get out, or be resilient enough to overcome nearly anything. I'd bet a lot of money on VJ being a good basketball player. He may not ever be a superstar, idk, but he wont be a bust. I would bet on his future and believe in him tho.
Suns know what they need to do. I see them being a playoff team by the time the 27 and 29 picks convey. This is who I wanted for the Rockets if we stayed at 10 prior to the KD trade and Maluach actually being available Hate it but good for Suns fans they had the best draft
This really isn’t correct because we only gave them the 59th pick this year. We did not give them the other pick used to get Fleming. So, whoever is picked at 59 is who we gave up (not Fleming).
We may have? Suns HAD pick 52 (from Denver). We gave them #59 and then 4 more picks in coming years*. They traded 2 of the 4 picks to get pick 36. Then they traded 59 and 52 to get to 41. Then they traded 36 and the other 2 of the 4 picks to get to 31. So to get 31 they basically used all 4 of the other 2rps we gave them (and finessed 59 into 41 using their own 52) *they also owned a 2026 2nd round pick from DEN or GSW - and may have used that and kept one of the picks we gave them?
With all due respect, there is nothing to suggest that this team is going to improve significantly with their roster, their front office, or their available assets. "The best draft" is nonsense.
