1985. Great album. I was not allowed to go to the show as I was just short of 12 years old. I was so pissed. I did get to see them a few years later for the SSOASS tour, my fave maiden album, and it blew my mind. I lost that shirt many years ago lol.
One of you twitterers just needs to ask Julia Morales. Please. I said this the last time we were wondering about it. MLB differentiates between uniforms and equipment (gloves/pads/whatever). It's not like the NFL where they'll fine you for having an extra stripe on your socks.
Relocated from the game thread: I personally understand where the author is coming from, but this is the dumbest f'ing idea I've heard in a while...and MLB has had numerous ones https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id...paul-skenes-new-formula-game-scores-analytics It's an interesting read regardless.
Hopefully Yordan is back Tuesday in Colorado. Pena Paredes Yordan Altuve Smith Diaz Walker Meyers Dubon
Crane should've paid attention to what Altuve said and extended Pena before the season started. He's too damn much of a stickler (unless they're a washed up 1st baseman) with the contacts he gives out and now it may cost him even more money if Pena continues to play like he has.
If he wasn't going to sign him past 2027 before, and isn't going to sign him past 2027 now, how has any of this cost Crane money?
Yes but I am hoping he decides he does not need a rehab assignment. They may decide he isn't needed in Colorado and wait 3 additional days to activate him, but I'm hoping Colorado IS his rehab.
Colorado as a rehab makes sense I don’t say this lightly but I believe their team is basically the equivalent of a decent AAA team.
Or the home series after that LA series is done? Or after the ASB? Why push it now? He's ready when he's ready...we're a 2nd half team
Understand this. But IF he's healthy and its just a matter regaining his timing, no point in waiting. A healthy, rusty Yordan is still better than at least 2-3 of the guys they are rolling out currently.
Alvarez has proven to be superfluous. The Astros do not need him. In another couple of weeks they will be the #1 team in all of baseball without any contribution from him. I see no reason to think about bringing him back till he is outhitting all the minor leagues consistently. Once he is back I want to hear some serious offers for him. I probably do not give consideration to trading him till the off season and may not do it then. I want a minor league system full of enough talent for another ten year run.
I'm just gonna throw this out... Having a guy take his first MLB swings coming off of the IL at Coors Field....what could possibly **** his swing up more? Fun Times! At LA sounds good?
