I heard: Popovich did the teaching, other guy did the scheming, Idiotchild called the plays. Could be wrong.

I am totally ready to give this regime a chance.

I said the exact same thing before last season.

I believe we are going to see significant differences in everything on the offensive side. Slowick had more issues than most fans realized. He was a close friend of the head coach and got canned anyway.

    Franchise QB> OC.

Slowik was done the minute CJ was drafted.

Their personalities were like oil and water.

Always believed if you want to duplicate what the 49ers were doing, nobody better than Slowik. But it's like a painter or photog, you can only imitate someone's style for so long. Eventually you have to put your own spin on it. Falcons/Panthers game, Green Bay game indecisions on how to attack the final two minutes. Big flaws. But I think they're flaws every OC has starting out.
It's pretty crappy that he got the blame for the pathetic efforts of the o-line. Yesterday the main station was talking about how Popovich was in there coaching the linemen individually. They have never seen that in the past 2 seasons. What? Not Caley. The O line coach. You mean the previous O line coach didn't do this teaching thing? In a Kubahan system where the most minute detail is crucial. WTF.

Some guys like Lance Z, who I always enjoy like to say Bobby is responsible for the O-line. His dad was an Oline coach.
Then other retired pro fatties with podcasts say, it's on the o-line coach to teach technique. Who the f knows. But the performance of the O-line really did a hit job.

That system shelf life is short unless you add to it putting ur own wrinkle on it. Slowik just wanted to run the system the way it was ran in 23 yes losing WRs didn’t help and the O-line stunk but he never made the correct adjustments

Kyle Shannahan, himself, updated the system his father and Kubiak used during their time. Of course, *their* system came from Bill Walsh. To paraphrase Woody Allen, offenses are like sharks- they have to keep moving, or die.

There's only so many adhustments that can be made with a hurt WR corps and a sucky OL.

Slowik was done the minute CJ was drafted.

True, we have limited information. It was a combination of issues, and a fresh start was warranted.

Well KCs offense wasn’t all that great during the regular season last year, just good when it needed to be pretty much every game. Rams is the weird one I’ll admit to that
