Who the hell makes a 5 start rehab in the minors? That's insane. You're acting like he hasn't had spring training or any type of mound exposure this year.
I just can’t help but be certain that Hunter Brown was a damn good QB in high school. at least all-county
Bonus points for the use of mamaluke. To be fair Sanchez's deadliest pitch is his change. They have to be keying on that. Tough to turn a 96 mph fastball wney you are looking for the change
Scherzer made 2 AAA starts in his recent rehab from thumb stuff. You'd have to look up how many games he pitched at the complex before that.
Booth said earlier he has a 45% swing&miss rate on his changeup. I'm no analyticstician, but I think that's pretty, pretty, pretty good.
Yeah but he said five rehab starts at AAA, you just said that Scherzer had only two. So I think you just proved my point. I've never in my life heard of someone needing five rehab starts if they had pitched at some point during the season already. Arrighetti will absolutely be back by August 1st.
****, I forgot today was a day game! Oh, look....it's 1-0. Just like every other inning in the last 2 games!
You're saying 5 is more than 2? I was not disagreeing with you. As I said 2 hours ago in this very thread: Different injury, but a data point on thumbs: Scherzer went on the IL March 30 [eta: Spencer went on the IL a week later] for thumb inflammation and made his return to MLB yesterday. I'm sure you could look up his rehab timetable re: bullpens/ liveBP/rehab starts/etc...
Well this is the inning the Phillies would have to get to Brown, otherwise we might be looking at an eight inning shutout performance.
Yeah but after you said he only needed 2 starts your next comments were noncommittal talking about you had no idea what preceded that. I only made the point he is absolutely not gonna pitch for an entire month in AAA.
