Numbers seem about right for KD extension. I mean there was never any chance he gives the Rockets can actual sweetheart deal. Due to how repeater tax and apron penalties work, for at least the next 4 years how much the Rockets spend depends entirely on Tilman. After that, the penalties become punitive enough that most owner would be getting off the luxury tax boat. But next 4 years gotta maximize that window.

 

Is that a pay cut? Doesn’t seem like it. He’s not worth 56 million…
