Im sure I will get hate for this but I really think for a lot of cases it is a eugenics thing. These people are actually just ****ing idiots, and I dont mean this as an insult. Couple that with a lack of higher education coming from poorer backgrounds, generations of doing "low skill" labor, they just do not have the same capability to think critically.

Like for this instance the argument for deporting all illegal citizens (putting all the economic downsides aside) is actually relatively reasonable. But they lack the eq to understand that most these backwater hicks that they are aligned with dont actually care about and understand the crime aspect or economy or having a lawful system etc themselves. To them its just an excuse to attack hispanics and other minorities, whether legal or illegal. Instead they just cant read underlying motives, no matter how blatant they are, and take everything at surface level

I trust the intelligence and info Hegseth is giving us. You think Hegseth would've been so strong in what he said if the intelligence info he had wasn't telling him that the sites had been destroyed?

Or maybe these hicks as you call them just believe in the rule of law and want the laws on the books to be enforced. Call me crazy.

The Ivy league crowd is what has gotten us into this mess because they elitists/globalists know best. You must be for slave labor wages in this country. That's what letting all of the illegals in this country is going. (Driving wages down, how elitist of you)

Silly question to ask a guy who believes a pathological liar and felon like Trump.

It is what it was originally called, because it was believed it grew out of Lutheranism/Calvanism. More modernly, it is believed to be associated with an adoption of free market capitalism and associated ideas (anonymous exchange, enforcement of property rights, etc.). The fact that the North was far more successful than the South and that other countries that similarly followed in the same industrial revolution (England and Northern Europe predominantly) were also successful would tend to give credence to the adoption of this work ethic (Capitalist work ethic, if you prefer) rather than slavery.
Or we could all freely enter into mutually beneficial agreements where our labor is traded for compensation (I know that is what I have done all my life, when not working for myself).
Not really. Plenty of people can work for a living and don't need minimum wage laws, government bureaucracy, or welfare. It will be tough for the people that prefer to live off of others, but I don't really care.
No, it is just how things work in a market economy. All the people who work in higher end fields are basically already living this type of life, except the government is swooping in and taking a bunch of their money. The NLRB isn't coming in and negotiating an attorney's salary against their firm, they just negotiate for it on their own. They also are clearly not dependent on minimum wage or welfare. There is no reason people in other jobs cannot do the same thing. They can even form unions if they want to bargain collectively. The NLRB didn't exist before 1935, yet somehow people managed to live through all of human history for tens of thousands of years before that.

Thank you. See this is the kind of baseless toilet water drivel with irrelevant buzzwords thrown in I was referring to.

No sane person should behave like this yet here we are

I don't think he would put his reputation on the line in a case like this. Of course you think all the Trump administration does is lie. Look at this Trump gave Iran 60 days to disarm and on the 61st day Israel struck Iran. Then he gave Iran sometime inside two weeks to negotiate a deal before he sent in the bunker busters. He hasn't lied about anything so far when it comes to dealing with Iran. I don't suspect anybody in his administration would be lying about Iran either.

Tell me what's not true about my post instead of the useless drivel in your post. You must be an elitist Ivy leaguer. BTW, my son has an engineering degree and lives in Cambridge, but thankfully is moving back home to work with me. You know one of those old hicks that seem to repulse you so badly.

His reputation is terrible. The only people that can lose more respect for him are the diehard MAGA that would abandon him as soon as Trump turned on him. He has to go along with Trump. That is his entire career now

Lmao why would I care at all about anything in your post when you replied to mine with unrelated r****ded garbage

If you are trying to convince people of your intelligence, calling someone an elitist and then unironically dickriding trump is not going to help your case. Im sorry your son wasted all those years and cant get hired on his own merit

Biden and Obama were deporting more people than Trump, they just didn’t decide to throw away due process while doing it

these people are so fcking dumb

he got what he voted for

I hope that cell is cold, the bread is moldy, and he’s booted out never to be seen in this country again…goodbye, moron

This **** just makes no sense. How you going have a undocumented spouse and a new born and take the gamble on Trump? Like what goes through your head at that point? I just dont get it sincerely.

Why would anyone take a chance voting for Trump with a new born baby that their spouse may get deported. I just don't understand the calculation.

    This **** genuinely confuses me
