While I agree that we need another point guard. Holiday, though he isnt the leader that Fred is, is a much better option than Morris. We have a much more efficient Morris at home ok lol But I do agree we should be looking at point guards if we dont think Reed takes a leap this year. And as far Gordon, Lets leave the past in the past and look toward the future.

IIRC Ty was a decent setup / PG for Cavs this year as well.

He got roasted / hunted in playoffs tho...

    Tough decision!

I don't disagree. I would actually be fine with the Rockets staying out of free agency this year, opting into Holiday and Jock's contracts, and ducking the tax one more year, with the assumption that they negotiate Bari and Tari's deals so that they are under the 1st apron next year if FVV opts in and the year after that assuming Amen gets the rookie max.

    IMHO need two lineups:

Rox 94 (AKA KD-Alpe- shooters): FVV - ??? - KD - Bari - Alpe (could also replace Bari in this lineup)

Run & Fun (aggressive defenders who get buckets off of attacking passing lanes): Reed - Amen - Cam - Tari - Aquaman

So we're missing an outside shooter who can handle the ball when called for (Ty Jerome?)

    Posting this in multiple thread

Ime isnt the Cavs coach he cant handle complicated lineups. Like we had all thes options last year he just played FVV 40 mins and called it a day.

We have one lineup which is

    FVV/Amen/KD/Jabari/Sengun

and then theres gonna be the bench which are Adams/Tari/Reed/Cam

I can see him running double big at times so
    Adams/Sengun/KD/Tari/Amen or FVV

Thats basically gonna be the lineup barring injuries. If we can steal Grimes, Ty Jerome or Tyus Jones Cam Whitmore will prob lose his place in the rotation lol.

Exactly. After losing Brooks that should be our priority for Tari insurance and his injury history.

I like Bruce Brown too but rumors are he is likely heading back to the Nuggets. The reason Westbrick opted out and became free agent. Was told he would have smaller role next season and not guaranteed any minutes.

    Quentin Grimes

He's from Houston, Sixers can't afford to pay him. He's still repping Houston in all his off-season practices. He'll probably be more inclined to sign with us over other teams given the same deal.

His age fits our timeline. Perfect backup SG. Knows his role. Get it done Stone.

Then pick up a center on vet min. I'm sure there will be good centers on vet min for us simply because they know they can get minutes because Adams will be on minutes restrictions throughout the season.

The kind of role players we need on this team are players who are from H-Town. Or guys who grew up rooting for the Rockets. As an example, look how good Gary Payton Jr. was for the Warriors, dude begged them to keep him on the team for a vet min. Once he went to another team, immediately became trash.

Would love to have him here and haunt the Warriors... Do we have enough minutes for him and Sheppard though? Reed makes $11 million next season and he would make $14 million...

Bruce Brown averaged 8/4/2 last year shooting 42% from the field and 33% from 3, what am I missing?

This is the answer right here, averaged 15/4/3, 47% from the field, 39% from 3, perfect...

    Sam Merrill

Don’t think Ty Jerome would want to be here with the limited playing time. Don’t think the Rockets would want someone to be ahead of Sheppard in terms of playing time, either.

Streets be saying Grimes will have a Dior price tag. Marshalls or Goodfellow, the target brand is all we can pay.

I'd really like to have Grimes

After his end of the season hot streak, ole boy looking for da bag and about to get paid!
I prefer we go after veterans such as CP3, Taureen Prince, Gary Trent Jr, Jericho Sims...Robert Williams is up for $13M, don't want to touch that contract...we need shooting, reliable backup point guard, and an athletic 5 who can switch to defend all positions/catch alley-oops
