Seriously, just think about how many great players we’ve drafted, signed and traded for since our golden years (93-95) and how lucky we’ve been at having winning seasons, playoff appearances and an owner and or GM invested in keeping us in contention. We’ve had: Barkley, Pippen, Francis, Mobley, Yao, T-Mac, Scola, Artest, Harden, Howard, CP3, Westbrook, Sengun, Amen, Adams and now Durant. Out of all the teams and organizations that could’ve had these guys, we’ve just been one of the very few teams who can say they’ve had several generation defining players, franchise players and just all round greats who 99% of fans wish they had had them on their teams at some point in time. Happy to have been chosen by fate to become a fan of the Rockets and let’s appreciate the history and enjoy this
Y’all are weird. Look at how much **** some organizations are in with their lack of direction, money tied up with horrible contracts, cheap or too hands on owners etc. And still cannot muster to get into the spirit of praising the Rockets as an organization.
I mean - they also created a monster too. Fans here are spoiled and have been trying to push for trading any and everything for far lesser 'stars' since the beginning of this rebuild because they expect to be good and don't understand how long it takes to develop young players. I'm glad Tillman has mostly supported the FO being patient through this rebuild - that's what separates the Chicago and Sacramento teams from the San Antonios of the world.
Stone if you’re reading this, if you ever trade Amen you’ll break my ****ing heart Go sign Ty Jerome off the bench please
Tilman really pissed me off with his directional inputs after the purchase. Clearing out a historically good team and FO within 2 years. Sending out 4 picks with CP for WB that we are still paying… It been pretty good over the last 2 years, there have been mistakes and highly questionable moves by the modern FO still, Oladipo extension, Jalen pick and contract, general asset management, but all in all things have been okay. I will still remain wary to see how Tilly manages a contender and the taxes that come with it.
