lol. I bet he wasn’t even there, but big money gets the blame. Harden for as much of a rockstar life he has, he keeps his **** fbi mode on things happening near him. Surprised.
is it too late to file a Clutchfans class action against Harden's negligence during his playoff performances here?
Meh. Money Chasing Isn't this what got Tupac? He didn't assualt the lady but still ended up in jail because of the assualt? Rocket River
I genuinely thought this was what it was going to be hahaha. Is this a thing in America, can you be sued because somebody else did something just because of a vague connection?
Well, you can be sued for anything. Whether your lawyers can quickly squash it without the need for an actual trial is a different question. From my high level understanding, plaintiffs are trying to sue him as an employer for actions of his employees. There are certain circumstances where that is a thing, and certain circumstances where that is not a thing.
Ok so that's the angle. He's being sued because his employees didn't catch somebody else doing a crime? That's not really a thing here tbh, you'd get laughed out of court after they took your filing fee and probably make a joke of you for a couple of weeks. Hopefully common sense prevails, it's hardly his responsibility to prevent things like that. Private security aren't the police, they're not on watch for the full scope of crimes, or responsible for them.
I think the plaintiff's angle is his employees allegedly affirmatively prevented other people from preventing the crime. I'm not really familiar with the relevant law that would govern that situation.
